QUESTION
Would this rinse be good for my Newf to prevent yeast infections in her ears? She is very prone to them because of her super heavy ears
ANSWERS (1)
Thank you for your question. Yes, this product would be great to prevent yeast infection. To keep pooch’s ears healthy, regularly check for discharge, odor, and swelling. After your dog bathes or swims, gently dry the outer part of the ears as well as you can. If your dog has hair in the opening of his ears, ask his groomer to trim or tweeze it.

QUESTION
Is this ear wash ok to use in between treatments of Zymox Optic 1% hydrocortisone? I read somewhere you shouldn’t use any other ear wash or cleaner etc when using the Zymax Optic as it makes it ineffective. I am thinking over the long term for maintence?
ANSWERS (1)
Yes. You may use it in between treatments. However, you should not use the Zymox in conjunction with ear cleansers while treating an ear infection.
