About this product

What is Prana Pets Lignans & Melatonin with Biotin for Dogs with Cushing's Disease?

Lignans & Melatonin Blend with Biotin now offers more precise dosing with adjusted SDG lignans and melatonin, plus added biotin for healthier skin, coat, and nails. Melatonin helps regulate sleep, reduces stress, and supports a calm demeanor, while lignans provide better cortisol control, especially for dogs with Cushing’s. Together, they help manage symptoms like excessive thirst, panting, and urination for improved well-being. Melatonin and Lignans is frequently used with Prana Pets Adrenal Balance, but can also be administered along with Vetoryl or Trilostane.

Suitable for:

Dogs (All Ages)

Benefits:

  • Made in the USA
  • Made with natural ingredients
  • Veterinarian recommended
  • Melatonin is a natural hormone produced by the pineal gland that helps the body maintain hormonal balance
  • Reduces excess cortisol produced by the body in dogs with Cushing's Disease
  • Helps with loss of fur and skin irritations due to Cushing's Disease
  • Supports normal hormonal balance in dogs

How does Prana Pets Lignans & Melatonin with Biotin for Dogs with Cushing's Disease work?

Both lignans and melatonin work together in this combination tablet to help reduce the excess cortisol levels produced in dogs with Cushing's Disease. Melatonin is a natural hormone produced by the pineal gland. By supplementing their natural melatonin levels, dogs can experience improved sleep quality which benefits their overall wellbeing. And a rested dog equals a rested dog parent, too! Gone are the nights of waking up at all hours to a restless, sleepless pooch! Biotin helps alleviate hair loss and hot spots, common signs of Cushing's in dogs, while promoting a shiny coat and healthy skin. Lignans & Melatonin Blend with Biotin is frequently used with Prana Pets Adrenal Balance, but can also be administered along with Vetoryl or Trilostane.

If your pet’s condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian. Safe use in pregnant pets or pets intended for breeding has not been proven. Actually Worked
My 10lb Dachshund has had increasing liver values for over a year (they just keep going up), but this recent blood work showed one value actually went down and is back in normal range! He was on these for at least a month before we got bloodwork. I'm chalking it up to this supplement since it's the only thing different that we've been doing/ giving him. He was diagnosed with cushings but has no outwards symptoms so I can't really comment on if it helps those. Definitely worth a try though!
