Questionable
This dewormer requires 3 doses mixed with food. My girl did eat her food with this added the first time but then refused to eat any other time. I will have to say I think it works because there is no longer any sign of the tape worms but then again it states that the medication must be administered for 3 consecutive days. I ended up throwing the balance of the product away.

QUESTION
I asked the question before about the amount of fenbendazole in a 4 gram packet. The answer given by the professional pet med staff was 4,00mg. This number makes no sense. How many milligrams of fenbendazole is in a four gram packet SAFEGUARD 4.
ANSWERS (1)
Hi, when you convert units from grams to milligrams, 4 grams = 4000 milligrams. Sorry for any confusion. How the formula works for grams to milligrams: multiply the mass value by 1000. Panacur c and safe guard are both made by Merck and are the same exact medication.
