Life saver
My 11 year old labradoodle developed pancreatitis and would not eat. We were told he would most likely not make it another 2 days. We were sent home to give him love and to make him as comfortable as possible. I went home and began feeding him Nutri-Cal. He did pass away but not for another 16 months. After his first few helpings of the Nutri-Cal, he perked up and slowly regained his energy. For the next 16 months, we would use Nutri-Cal to supplement his feedings to help regulate his diabetes so he could enjoy running around and loving his people.

Nutri-cal
I've been useing Nutri-cal for about 7 years now and it is a life saver for my dogs. I give my dog this everyday to prevent spells of have low sugar and lathargy which can lead to a sugar coma or even worse. Anyway Natri-cal is a life saver and really works for my dogs. My dogs dont have any spells any more as long as I don't miss days of not giving it to them cause they are very picky eaters so this gives them some nutrition that they need. I would highly reccomend Nuti-cal especially for tiny breeds ( toy, tea cup, etc.). If you have a picky eater this will also help you dog get a better appetite a eat as well. One of my dogs is very picky as of day one and when I started giving her Natri-cal little by little hand feeding her she started to eat.

Nutrical good for old dogs
I care for a lot of geriatric dogs who sometimes do not have a very hearty appetite. My vet recommended Nutrical for the days when they do not eat enough, Nutrical gives them extra nutrients and calories. The consistency is like toothpaste and it's easy to just squeeze out the dose into a small bowl. Usually they love the taste and lap it right up but if not, I mash up a small chunk of canned dog food with it and they eat it right up. If a dog has no appetite at all, the Nutrical is easy to squeeze out onto your finger and then just swipe it into the roof of the dog's mouth (quickly before it melts). It's also good for cats. One tube doesn't go very far if you have a big dog but it's worth it for the nutritional support.

Our dog had puppies and nursed them a full 6 weeks and she lost much weight. We had to put her back on puppy food. And after just 1 tube she's back to her normal weight. Never lost any weight again. When she has another litter this will be on hand during pregnancy.
