QUESTION
Any chicken in your product. Pit has serious chicken allergy
ANSWERS (1)
Thank you for your question. The chicken flavor component is a liquid chicken broth that has been thermal heated, meaning it has been cooked at temps above 300 degrees for over 8 hours. This process cooks out the chicken protein, leaving only the chicken fat, and therefore no longer considered a USDA meat based product. This supplement is deemed safe for dogs with known chicken allergies.
