If a dog licks a skin abrasion wound after application of Derma-Clens, how likely is it that this med will cause the dog to vomit?

Thank you for your question. This is not likely but still possible. If you believe your pet is experiencing an adverse reaction after licking the skin abrasion wound area after application consult your DVM.

What is Derma-Clens Dermatologic Cream?

Derma-Clens is for use on wounds, abrasions, burns and other dermatological conditions in dogs and cats. It promotes healing by removing non-living tissue from wounds, abrasions and burns. It also creates a barrier between lesion and bandage when used as a dressing prior to bandaging wounds. It has a vanishing cream base.

How does Derma-Clens Dermatologic Cream work?

Cautions:

For animal use only. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.

Derma-Clens Dermatologic Cream Directions:

  • Clean affected area.
  • Apply an even layer over the entire lesion twice a day. Use as required by severity of condition and response.
Tip:

Derma-Clens may also be applied as a dressing when bandaging wounds.
