Questions

Cosequin ASU-does it require dose adjustment in senior mares?

Asked by: Teri
Thank you for your question. This product does not provide dosage adjustment instructions based on your horses age. The dosage instructions are based on your horses weight and then what is called the initial dosage first 2-4 weeks and then the maintenance dosage after 204 weeks.

  • Helps prevent the breakdown of cartilage
  • Safe to use in all classes of horses
  • Protects cartilage and supports joint junction

How does Cosequin ASU for Horses work?

The active ingredients in Cosequin ASU, glucosamine, MSM, and chondroitin, work together to help protect the cartilage in your horse's joints by supporting healthy cartilage matrix as well as inhibiting the enzymes that breakdown cartilage.
