Tell your veterinarian if your horse has a hypersensitivity to Albuterol Sulfate Syrup for Horses or other bronchodilators. Let your veterinarian know if your horse is pregnant, breeding, or lactating. Tell your vet if your horse has a history of cardiac issues, hyperthyroidism, or diabetes.
Give Albuterol Sulfate Syrup for Horses to your horse exactly as directed by your veterinarian. Albuterol Sulfate Syrup for Horses is meant to be given by the mouth. The recommended dose is to be determined by your veterinarian.
Common side effects of Albuterol Sulfate Syrup for Horses can include palpitations, chest pain, rapid heart rate, tremors, and nervousness.
Give the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is close to the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume a regular dosing schedule as determined by your veterinarian. Do not double dose.
If an overdose is suspected, contact your veterinarian immediately.
