PETMED EXPRESS D/B/A 1-800-PETMEDS ANNOUNCES A 25% INCREASE TO ITS QUARTERLY DIVIDEND
Pompano Beach, Florida, August 2, 2010 - PetMed Express, Inc. (NASDAQ: PETS) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.125 per share on its common stock, compared to the $0.10 per share dividend that has been paid in prior quarters. The dividend will be payable on August 27, 2010, to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 13, 2010. The Company intends to continue to pay regular quarterly dividends; however the declaration and payment of future dividends is discretionary and will be subject to a determination by the Board of Directors each quarter following its review of the Company’s financial performance.
