Freeze dried pieces non existent
I have 2 GSD & one is a very picky eater. When I switched her to this food, she loved it & I no longer had to sit with her trying to get her to eat. Although over the past few months, there have been little to no freeze dried turkey pieces in these bags of food & I now have to put a topper on her food to get her to eat. I just opened a new bag and again I see no freeze dried turkey pieces. Really disappointed that I have decided to have to write this review. I see several other similar reviews and the product obviously hasn’t gotten better for several months. The food is great for my dogs coat & overall health, but stop advertising something that you’re not giving your customers.

Very strange smell, dog won't touch
Not sure if the recipe changed or what, my dog used to love this food. I rotate her diet and recently bought this one for her, and I felt queasy when I opened the bag. It had a stale, bitter, cardboard-like scent. I figured, whatever, she's not a picky eater. But I could not get her to eat it, she would actually sniff it and back away. Even mixing and coating it in wet food, broth, treats etc., she refused it. I honestly couldn't blame her with how strange it smelled. I've been feeding her Wellness Core for years and don't want to stop! :( But will definitely be avoiding this flavor from now on.

Hes never been one to want food first thing in the morning till this so I would say its Boomer approved! Definitely more pricey than his Blue buffalo he was on since we rescued him

She is fairly open to trying new things and happily scarfed down her new food without complaint nor any tummy issues later on. I liked that the ingredients were less filler and more of the good stuff. But happy dog is happy me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My small dog enjoyed it and ate it up pretty quickly. I didnt notice any sensitivity issues which is a plus. Although I wouldnt say shes picky by any means, she dug Im pretty fast. I havent priced the full sized bags to determine if I would like to switch out from her normal brand.
