- The amount of food your dog needs can vary based on age, activity level or other food and treats given, so be sure to work with your veterinarian to determine an appropriate weight for your dog, and to make any necessary adjustments to their feeding.

CHANGING TO A DIAMOND NATURALS FORMULA: Changing your pet's diet should be a gradual process. Start by adding a small amount of your pet's new food to their current food. Gradually increase the new food amount and decrease the current food amount at each feeding. Continue this method for approximately one week. For sensitive dogs, extend the period to 10 to 14 days.

Keeps my girl happy and healthy
My dog Sasha has been eating Diamond Naturals Beef canned dog food her entire life, with their stuff treats, and she's extremely happy and healthy for it. Her coat shines and we've never had any issues with her digestive health or joint health. We will forever grateful for diamond naturals live of prey products

Now I understand low price!
I now understand how PetMeds can sell this dog food at a discounted price. I recently purchased three cases. In the first case, every single can was badly dented (and not just those around the outside which might have gotten damaged in shipment). Even cans in the middle of the case were badly dented. In the second case of food, EVERY SINGLE ONE of the cans was missing about 20% of the food (with a big airhole in each can). Now, if you do the math, you are paying for about 2 cans of food that you aren't actually getting. Only a few of the cans in the first case had this problem. It amazes me that the Diamond Natural factory doesn't have better quality control (e.g. weighing each can as it comes down the line), but PetMeds must be getting a discount and I will not be buying from them again.
