- Just like you, your puppy or dog is a unique individual and their feeding requirements will vary with breed, environment, age and activity. That's why we suggest using the feeding guide as a starting point, and monitoring your puppy or dog’s weight and adjusting amounts as needed.
- ACANA also recommends feeding your pet twice daily and always keeping fresh, clean water available.
- When switching diets, it's important to transition your dog or puppy as it takes time for their digestive system to adapt to the nutrient levels in ACANA. Great for picky eaters
This food is amazing! My standard poodle is super super picky and I’ve bought so many different food brands and he’s loved this one the most. I didn’t even have to put any food topper with the kibble and he devoured it. Definitely recommend for picky eaters.

My Dog Loves This Food!
I tried this for my dog and he absolutely goes NUTS for it. We had been feeding him the other chicken recipe that has 60% protein for years. I’m not sure if it’s the jerky bits and/or the slightly higher protein content but my 10yr old golden doodle is up at 5am eagerly expecting his breakfast! I would say that each scoop maybe has only a little bit of jerky; either way though my dog gobbles it up so I can’t complain about that too bad.

Food gets inhaled, Poop quality is A+++++++
I have a 13 year old pittiebeagle who’s a picky eater - but had a sensitive stomach and has skin allergies on certain brands. She was eating justfoodsfordogs but with inflation going wild I switched her to a kibble and tested out over 10 brands. I was most impressed with Orijen and Acana, and later discovered they are owned by the same company. Acanas foods are very dense, and lead to sizable poop sizes compared to the same volume of the competitors. Acana seems to satisfy my picky house hippo AND her poos are A++++. I typically gauge food and treat quality by her poop quality, and this brand takes the cake. For this reason, I recommend Acana!! I really appreciate how this brand uses good ingredients, has vitamin and GI supplementation AND include glucosamine. Orijen Senior blend includes condition AND glucosamine, but in elevated levels compared to Acana.

Started buying approximately 6 months ago and I e since noticing licking of the paws licking tail area ( no fleas and not normal habit) were on our 6th bag after this figures we try something else I have been on RED MEAT, LIVER & WHOLE OATS RECIPE and sadly not impressed , I can show pic of befor and during if wanted

After 6 years of feeding my Golden Retriever Duck and Pear Acana I am switching brands. Specialty stores are clearing their shelves of Acana and Orjen. After the sale of Acana and Orjen the quality of ingredients has gone down ... cost cutting??

My dogs love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been trying to find a good dog food to switch my dogs to, and was very impressed with Acana! My dogs didn't have any tummy issues during the switch from their previous dog food. They my dogs are getting up there in age, so they are starting to slow down a bit, but since starting this food, they seem to be a little more active! I'm not sure if it's the dog food, but I will continue to buy just in case!

Good quality your pets deserve
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rarely change the food I give my dog since I’m afraid her stomach could get upset, this wasn’t the case at all though. I was also afraid she wouldn’t eat it and start to be picky but my dog loved the flavor and ate all her food! I will keep buying this brand for her since she loved it so much.
