- The following feeding program is recommended as a guideline only, with discretionary clinical adjustments for proper weight maintenance.
- With your veterinarian's approval, offer increasing amounts of the new food with decreasing amounts of the old food.

GOOD Rx FOOD FOR OUR FINICKY CAT!!!
Our cat loves DRY food so we have been giving her the Purina Pro Plan UR St/Ox dry food for almost 2 years since her body produces urinary crystals causing her to develop bladder stones from eating regular food. Since eating this along with the Salmon flavored wet version of the Purina Pro plan St/Ox in a can her stones and crystals have been reduced along with her urination frequency!!!

RELUCTANT TO BUY FOR MY KITTY AGAIN
I have a kitty who had urinary crystals and is on a UR diet. She enjoys the wet food from this line but only tolerates this dry food. I got a sample from my vet, which had a decent aroma. I purchased a six pound bag of this exact food from Pet Smart today which has no smell or aroma what so ever and I think it has been on their shelf f or a very long time. The expiration date is this June 2019, which means it will expire before my kitty could eat 1/3 of it. . I do not need such a large bag as my kitty doesn't eat that much dry food which means by the time she eats half of this six pound bag (smallest size it comes in) the rest would be quite old and stale. This food is expensive...this bag cost $31 and I'm not happy with it as I think it is not fresh. I am going to take it back tomorrow. It doesn't smell like the sample my vet's office gave me to try. Purina should sell this in much smaller bags to ensure the freshness of the product.
