How does CheckUp at Home Wellness Urine Detection Test Kit for Cats work?
The CheckUp at Home Wellness Urine Detection Test Kit for Cats works by providing a simple, non-invasive method for pet owners to collect a urine sample and test it for common health indicators. This at-home test serves as a proactive tool for pet owners to monitor their cat's health, particularly for aging or overweight cats, or those with chronic conditions that require regular monitoring. It helps to detect potential problems early, which can be vital for timely intervention and improving your cat's long-term health. This kit includes special hydrophobic (water-repellent) litter. This litter is designed so that when your cat urinates in it, the urine does not get absorbed by the litter. Instead, it pools on top or around the sides, making it easy to collect. The litter is designed to feel and smell like regular litter, encouraging your cat to use it without hesitation.
Caution:
Keep away from children. Do not eat hydrophobic litter. Avoid contact with eyes. CheckUp should not replace a periodic visit to a veterinarian. If one of the parameters tests positive, contact your veterinarian for further examination and treatment.
How should I store this product?
Store in a cool, dry place.

- Fully submerge the testing strip square into a urine sample for 2 seconds.
- After dipping the testing strip into the vial of collected urine wipe away the excess urine and place it onto the results card.
- Wait 60 seconds, depending on the parameter, read and compare your color result next to the color legend to identify your result and circle the matching colors.
- For optimal results, collect urine in the morning or 2 hours after a daytime meal.
- CAUTION: As the colors on the testing strip will continuously change over time, it is important to evaluate the colors at exactly 60 seconds from the dipping.
