Have a hard dog to pill - these will solve it
My current schnauzer hates to take pills. Went into congestive heart failure this winter and would only chew up his Vetmedin chewables for 2 days and then the hide the pill dance began. Due to nationwide shortages on the medicine, I took the chance and ordered the compounded version. Game changer!! Frustration is gone. He takes 5mg a day - split into two doses. I am able to fit his other two tiny meds into the half dose, make a ball and down the hatch. He sits there waiting for more. So highly recommend! He gets the beef flavor.

Fantastic substitute for Vetmedin
My dogs will take this so easily. It's soft and is like a treat. We've tried the liquid but it's so messy....this is so much easier that Vetmedin or the liquid pimobendan. His heart loves it too....no fainting issues! Plus their customer service is fantastic!!!

QUESTION
Why did it change from a soft chew to a hard thin circle? My dog has issues with hard stuff these days so its a hassle getting it in him now. When might the soft chew return? Otherwise, I'll have to change back to the pill form.
ANSWERS (1)
Moving forward we will not be providing the soft chews. Due to the demand of the product during medication backorders of the brand the hard chews can be produced in a much more timely manner. We also experienced some of the chews melting during transportation especially in the summer months.
