Samantha Lacey Pio
This is the thrifty way to go
Samantha Lacy Pio is my cat. She is around 13 years old. She has had the eye herpes virus since I got her at a rescue sale. She was around 2 months old. She has been on lysine all her life. The humane society vet started me on the regular lysine for people that you buy at the health food store. I would buy it in a large bottle. It was fairly inexpensive. We used it for years with no problems. It comes in a capsule and you would break it open and sprinkle it on her dry food.
Now that she is older we've been having trouble with the powder. It is still the cheapest way to go, but she's gotten harder to feed in the past 2 years. She now has a very sensitive tummy. I don't have a lot of money to spend on pet supplies and I was looking for an alternative to the powder but couldn't go much higher in price. I read the prices and the reviews on the Lysine products. I was disappointed when I saw the prices, but I thought that I would buy the Immune Support L-Lysine
because It was so much cheaper then the rest. Judging by the reviews most cats would not eat it. I knew it was all that I could responsibly afford to pay so I ordered them and started praying. I prayer every day to Jesus that he knew my situation and could he please have my cat like these chews. My cat has never liked any kind of cat treat ever. I've only had the L-Lysine a couple of days, but SAMANTHA LACY PIO REALLY LIKES THEM, and they were so easy to give. The vet has put her on a very high dose so she takes 2 of them a day with no fuss at all. Pray, so you won't have to pay, a higher price. Thank-You Jesus and 1800petsmed.com!

Need more options
I agree with the other review, we need more options for l-lysine treats for cats. The one I buy at my vet is Enisyl-F Lysine Treats. My cats love them! But the price is expensive. Was hoping to get a price break here, but will go with what I know my cat will actually eat.
Please offer it, it also has good ingredients and the option to give a smaller dose of lysine to my cat as needed.

We have four cats and none of them liked these (and one of them will eat anything). I don't understand why Optix-care or other varieties of L-Lysine treats or capsules (to mix into food) are not offered on this website. The feline herpes virus is so common these days.
