1-800-PetMeds® Celebrates All Shelter Dogs’ Birthdays with the DOGust Celebration Sweepstakes!

Delray Beach, Florida, August 01, 2019 – When dogs come into shelters, it’s difficult to pinpoint their dates of birth, and all shelters can do is give an educated guess to each dog’s birthday. While an approximate age in years is possible to determine, an exact date of birth is not. So in 2008, August 1st was declared the universal birthday for all shelter dogs by the North Shore Animal League America, the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization. Now, for over 10 years, August, also known as DOGust has been deemed as the time to celebrate for all shelter dogs. This year, 1-800-PetMeds® joins in on the celebrations with the DOGust Celebration Sweepstakes!

The 1-800-PetMeds® DOGust Celebration Sweepstakes runs from Thursday, August 1, 2019, through Thursday, August 29, 2019. Everyone who enters from 12:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) August 1, 2019 to August 29, 2019 at 11:59 PM EDT is eligible to win. Each week throughout the month of August, 3 winners will be chosen.
