How does Revolution Plus for Cats work?
Revolution Plus contains the active ingredients selamectin and sarolaner, which absorb into the skin and enter the bloodstream. These ingredients combined begin killing fleas within 6 hours of administration, begin killing ticks within 24 hours of administration, prevent the development of heartworm infections, control of roundworm and hookworm, and eliminate and control ear mites.
Cautions:
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: Revolution Plus has not been evaluated as safe to use for kittens less than 8 weeks of age, underweight animals, or in breeding, pregnant, or lactating cats. Reported side effects in clinical trials included lethargy, weight loss, and anorexia. Use with caution in cats with a history of neurologic disorders. Revolution Plus contains sarolaner, which has been associated with adverse drug experiences and neurologic reactions including tremors, ataxia, and seizures in cats with or without a history of neurologic disorders. In humans, Revolution Plus may be irritating to skin and eyes.

To administer, part the hair on the back of your cat at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and empty the contents of the tube in one spot. Do not massage the product into the skin or apply to broken skin. Additionally, don't apply if your cat's coat is wet. Avoid contact between the product and your fingers. Wash your hands when you have finished applying Revolution Plus for Cats to your cat.

Reported side effects include lethargy, weight loss, and anorexia. Some animals may show clumping or stiff hair, hair discoloration, or a powder-like residue at the treatment site. Revolution Plus for Cats Directions:
- Remove the topical application tube from box.
- Firmly press the cap down to puncture the seal on the tube. A clicking sound will confirm that the seal has been punctured.
- Remove the cap and ensure the tip of the tube is open.

- Place the tip of the tube on the skin and empty the entire contents of the tube in one spot.
- Check to make sure the tube is empty.
- Cats larger than 22 lbs should be treated with the appropriate combination of tubes.
- Wash your hands after applying Revolution Plus.
Don't massage the topical into the skin. Don't apply to broken skin, and don't apply if the coat is wet. Ensure you are giving the appropriate dosage at monthly intervals.
