How does PetSafe Creekside Ceramic Pet Fountain work?
Water softly bubbles over the tower of this ceramic cat fountain making it approachable for shy cats to take a sip confidently. This sleek, light-grey fountain is made with high-quality, scratch-resistant ceramic and is free of lead and heavy metals, making it hygienic and safe for your pet. The 360-degree design of this fountain means that your pets will be able to sip from any side they choose, and multiple pets can drink all at once. This fountain works hard to ensure your favorite feline or canine companion always has fresh water. Carbon and foam filters work together to remove bad taste, odors, and pet hair from the water. At the same time, the fountain pump constantly circulates water to help inhibit bacteria growth.
PetSafe Creekside Ceramic Pet Fountain Directions:
- Step 1: Clean your fountain
- Clean all parts of the fountain using soap, warm water and a small brush before first use.
- Step 2: Assemble the fountain
- Thread the pump cord through the stem on the bowl. Run the cord through the notch on the bottom of the bowl.
- Place the pump in the filter and set into the bowl.
- Fold the rubber cap over the stem, allowing the cord to sit in the notch at the bottom of the cap.
- Align the carbon filter with the filter housing and insert.
- Insert the bottom of the filter housing into the circular hole on the pump.
- Place the tower over the filter housing. Align the top of the housing with the opening in the tower. Press down firmly to create the seal.
- Pour water into the fountain bowl, leaving an inch of room from the top of the bowl.
- Connect the pump cord to the power adapter and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
Tip:
If your pet is hesitant to use its new fountain, try the tips below to help it get accustomed to it. Don’t plug in the fountain for the first few days. Your pet may be intimidated by the running water. You can also add a small amount of broth to the water to help attract your pet to the fountain.
