Elanco Tapeworm Dewormer Tablets for Cats are supplied in a bottle of 3 scored tablets. Each scored tablet contains 23 mg of praziquantel.
How should this medication be given:
Cats and kittens over the age of 6 weeks should be given Elanco Tapeworm Dewormer Tablets for Cats in the following dosages according to weight: 4 lbs and under give½ tablet, 5-11 lbs give 1 tablet, over 11 lbs give 1½ tablets.
What happens if I overdose my pet:

- RETREATMENT:Steps should be taken to control fleas and rodents on the premises in order to prevent reinfection; otherwise, retreatment will be necessary. This is especially true in cases of tapeworms transmitted by fleas (Dipylidium caninum) where reinfection is almost certain to occur if you do notremove fleas from your petand the immediate environment. If reinfection occurs, tapeworm segments may be observed within one month of the initial treatment.
