What is Bravecto® 1-MONTH (fluralaner) Chews?
BRAVECTO 1-MONTH Chews, is specifically designed for dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age or older and weighing 4.4lbs or greater. BRAVECTO 1-MONTH Chews provides broad-spectrum protection that controls tick infestations for black-legged tick (a.k.a. deer tick), American dog tick and brown dog tick for one month in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older and weighing 4.4 pounds or greater. Bravecto 1-Month is also indicated for the treatment and control of lone star tick infestations for one month in dogs and puppies 6 months of age and older and weighing 4.4 pounds or greater. BRAVECTO 1-MONTH Chews kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations for one month. BRAVECTO 1-MONTH Chews requires a prescription from your veterinarian. BRAVECTO 1-MONTH Chews is taken until your puppy can transition to 12-week extended duration BRAVECTO Chews.
NOTE: If your puppy is 6 months of age or older, use extended duration BRAVECTO Chews for up to *12 weeks of flea and tick protection. *BRAVECTO Chews kills lone star ticks for 8 weeks.

How does Bravecto 1-Month Chews work:
After giving your dog Bravecto 1-Month Chews, the medication quickly reaches tissue fluids under your dog's skin. When fleas and ticks feed on your dog, they ingest Bravecto and die. Bravecto 1-Month Chews kills fleas, prevents flea infestations and kills ticks (black-legged tick (a.k.a. deer tick), American dog tick, brown dog tick, and lone star tick) for 1 month.
Cautions:
Not for human use. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. Keep the product in the original packaging until use, in order to prevent children from getting direct access to the product. Use with caution in dogs who have a history of seizures. Seizures have been reported in dogs following administration of fluralaner. Some dogs without a history of seizures have also experienced seizures following administration of fluralaner. The most common side effects of Bravecto are vomiting and diarrhea. Stomach upset, weakness, and lack of appetite, kidney and liver damage can also occur with this drug. If you notice anything different with the way your pet is behaving or if there are any other changes with your pet since giving this medication please contact your veterinarian or pharmacist for further help. This medication is not for humans. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water immediately after use of the product. Please keep away from children and pets in order to prevent accidental ingestion.

What is Bravecto 1-Month Chews used for:
Bravecto 1-Month Chews kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis), and the treatment and control of tick infestations [Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick (a.k.a. deer tick)), Dermacentor variabilis (American dog tick), and Rhipicephalus sanguineus (brown dog tick)] for 1 month in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older, and weighing 4.4 pounds or greater. Bravecto 1-Month Chews is also indicated for the treatment and control of Amblyomma americanum (lone star tick) infestations for 1 month in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older, and weighing 4.4 pounds or greater.
Bravecto 1-Month Chews can be used in adult dogs, and it's even safe for use in breeding, pregnant, and lactating dogs. For use in growing puppies, they should be 8 weeks of age or older and weigh at least 4.4 lbs.
How to administer Bravecto 1-Month Chews for Dogs:
Bravecto 1-Month Chews should be administered orally as a single dose every month according to the dosage schedule (How to Use tab). Treatment with Bravecto 1-Month Chews may begin at any time of the year and can continue year round without interruption. Once your puppy has reached 6 months of age, they can be transitioned to Bravecto chews for protection up to 12 weeks.

Bravecto 1-Month Chews can be given to your dog any time of the day, however it is recommended that you give your dog Bravecto 1-Month Chews at a mealtime, with food.
