My Pet's Wonder Drug
My vet prescribed this drug for his Cushing's which was diagnosed over 18 months ago. Happy to say that he has maintained his proper cortisol levels with every follow-up lab test. He is 12 years old and still acts like a puppy. Couldn't be happier.

Helps my babygirl
My dog has been on vetoryl for about 3 years it was a life saver for her! I give it once a day at around 8-9 pm. It calms the cortisol levels down so she can rest and sleep. Cortisol is supposed to be highest in the morning/day and decrease during the day. In dogs with cushings their levels are not stable and can fluctuate dramatically especially at night when it should be lowest. I am also going to start the Prana cushings support supplement.

Do not use veterol
My dog was on this drug for years to treat her Cushings. She went to the vet every month for testing, and a yearly liver ultrasound. In December of 2022 a large liver mass was found (about the size of a baseball) that was not there in 2021. It was inoperable, and she was given weeks at most to live. We immediately stopped her veterol, I am certain this drug caused that tumor. We started her on all natural products from NHV that suppressed her Cushings symptoms just as well as veterol, without the serious risks. If you research Cushings you will find there is no cure, all you can do is suppress the symptoms. Dogs die with Cushings, not from it. Do no put this horrible drug into your beloved family member, I’m certain it cut my baby’s life short. She lived over 8 months after we were told she may only last days to weeks. She was happy right until the end, she passed when her tumor ruptured causing internal bleeding. Do your research, treatment of Cushings will not prolong your dogs life, but veterol sure can cut it short.

Very hard on your dog, a better medicine exists
My dog suffered with Cushing's and was prescribed this product. After one pill it was clear that this was very hard on her, as vets will tell you in advance. I searched the web and find a Canadian company, Pet well being, product called Adrenal Harmony Gold. My dog was on this for the better part of 5 years. It was extremely effective for her and there are hundreds of other pet partners who agree. Please check into all available treatment options for your dog. I thought my dog was going to die and she lived happily for almost 5 years

Tolerated the meds for 2 months, then began vomiting, diarrhea, not eating,or drinking. my vet said stop the vetoryl . Now panting, excessive thirst, and hunger are back. Weak ,and shaking, I am just cherishing every minute with Zoey and praying for a miracle. I will never have enough time with her . The vetoryl did a good job, my dog just could no longer tolerate it.

Great Results
My 11 year old 40 lb dog is on 60mgs a day. Within the first week I noticed a huge difference. The excessive thirst and hunger has subsided and normalized. She hadn't had any hair loss and she's already wire haired but her coat is noticeably softer. I had thought her diminished energy was due to her age but she's back in action. It's been 3 weeks since she started on it, my vet is smart/cautious and just had her retested to be sure her levels are where they should be (and haven't dropped too low).

Almost killed my dog!
My chihuahua took 7 pills and after the 7th dose had bloody diarrhea and was larthargic. We had to take her to the er vet and she had almost 2 days of fluids and meds. Apparently this was a rare side effect. I wouldn’t recommend his med ever!
