How does Snoozer® Console Pet Car Seat work?

The Snoozer® Console Pet Car Seat secures firmly to the lid of the console and includes a strap to attach to your pets’ harness to keep them in one spot. So pet and driver alike can enjoy the ride side-by-side with peace of mind. The Console dog car seat gives your pet a front-row view of the road right next to you! Designed for pets up to 12 pounds, it’s especially great for pets who get carsick or anxious in the car, as seeing outside can help calm anxiety and reduce queasiness. Even pets who dislike car travel can learn to love it once they have their very own secure, comfortable spot to snooze in and look at the world go by.

Caution:

For animal use only. Do not attach the Safety Strap to a collar, always use a harness. Do not leave your pet unattended in a vehicle for an extended period of time. Measure your vehicle console and your pet to ensure a proper fit prior to purchase.

Snoozer® Console Pet Car Seat Directions:

  • The pet console seat is secured to the vehicle’s console by two Containment Straps (one on each side) and one Front Strap.
  • The pet is secured by the Safety Strap (inside rear center) from the seat to the pet’s harness.
  • Installation Instructions
  • Open the Containment Straps and remove them from the Safety Strap loops.
  • Thread the Containment Straps between the upper seat cushion and lower seat cushion on both the driver and passenger seats adjacent to the console.
  • Place the pet console seat on the console with the Safety Strap toward the back and the Front Strap facing forward.
  • Lift the console lid and wrap the single Front Strap under the lid and tighten.
  • Open the Containment Straps previously installed and reattach them to the Safety Strap loops on the underside of the pet console seat.
  • Adjust the Containment Straps to tighten the seat to the console.
  • Once the pet console seat is in place, attach the clasp on the Safety Strap to your pet’s HARNESS. DO NOT ATTACH TO A COLLAR.
  • Tighten the Safety Strap to keep your pet in the seat.
Tip:

Try using a treat or catnip as a way to show your pet his or her new car seat.
