Breed Chesapeak Bay / Lab Retriever mix
Can't get enough info
10yr old Chessie/Lab+ mix developed arthritis (painfully crippling) - vet put her on Carprofen (NSAID), although it helped with the arthritis, her cognitive became impaired and she became severely sedate. Also, they wanted to do bloodwork q/3 months!!! EXPENSIVE! new vet put her on the Duralactin, which brightined her cognitive; however, her arthritis has reverted to severe (she won't jump out of car nor go up/down stairs). i'm trying to determine if i can give Tramadol, as a pain supplemental to the Duralactin, but can not find any information on that. i don't like the idea of it's derivition from hyperimmunized animals :( yet, the price is OK and it is not as devastating as the NSAID. Have such conflict about using it. this site does not state from what country of origin the med comes, so am hesitant about purchasing from this site.

Fantastic!!!
I have a 10 year old Chocolate Lab. She has always been a bundle of energy. In the last year she has slowed down considerably due to arthritis. She has arthritis in her paws, ankles, hips, and back. She has a permanent limp because of limited range of motion in one of her paws. It was a struggle for her to get up from a lying position. This product seems to have shaved a few years off her life! She can stand up without a problem. She seems to have more energy. I'm so thankful my vet recommended this product instead of the much more expensive NSAIDS!

Breed Yorkie
Wow..... Just Wow
My 11 year old yorkie developed arthritis in her back knees. She started limping and her entire demeanor changed. I took her to the vet and got her on Rimadyl. It seemed to help very little and after 10 days the vet reported the swelling was still quite severe. I was devastated. I searched 1800petmeds and decided to try Duralactin, Synovi G3 and Yucca Intensive. It has only been 12 days, but I kept thinking she seems better. I started to question whether I was seeing what I wanted or was there real improvement? This morning after she used the potty she ran across the yard to me. I could hardly believe it. Yes, she is still limping (slightly), but she is getting much better, She really does seem more herself and I can tell she is in less pain. I want to thank everyone who took the time to review this product and recommend the other two products as well. My hope is to be able to stop the Rimadyl soon. She gets one half pill twice a day, one Synovi G3 small bite and 2-4 drops Yucca Intensive per day. I mix the Yucca with pumpkin and she cannot detect it. I am THRILLED with the results I am seeing.

Breed Lab/shepherd/? mix
The best supplement we've tried!
My 12 year old lab/mutt mix tore her ACL five years ago chasing a squirrel and had surgery. She has been on Rimadyl, Tramadol, and Cosquin since then. Then last year, she chased a squirrel again and tore her other ACL. Our vet didn't recommend surgery with her age (and the first surgery was difficult to endure/she cried in pain for days even with strong meds) and said she may recover some mobility with time. In addition, because of the ACL issues she was putting most of her weight on her front paws. In the past few years the front paws have turned inward and it appears that her tendons have torn (the vet told me the long name for the injury and said that in a younger dog, he'd recommend surgery). She walks slowly and appears to be in pain since her front paws have spread out and turn inward. For the past year, she has spent about 95% of her time in our downstairs family room so she doesn't have to walk up a flight of 10 carpeted stairs to the main living area and she only comes up when it rains. I have tried a few additional supplements over the years, but none have helped / have caused diarrhea. I order Rimadyl from 1800petmeds, so I decided to check if there is anything to help with her walking/pain. I read the reviews on Duralactin and decided to try it. At first, she did not want to eat it, so I put it in her food with some water and wet dog food so it will taste better. Well, within 5 days she was coming up the stairs a couple of times a day! She is back to laying in the front window and waiting for her food in the kitchen at each meal. She has now been on it for three weeks and is doing great! It is unbelievable that she is coming up the stairs every day! I am so glad I decided to try this---after trying so many supplements that didn't work. I still give her Rimadyl, Tramadol, Cosequin, & Omega-3 fish oil in addition to Duralactin :) and she is looking out the front window now!

Helps with skin allergies, too
Used this on my Cocker Spaniel who had food allergies in addition to arthritis and other 'old age' conditions. We changed her food and that helped with the constant scratching. But she still scratched. Once we added Duralactin to her regimen the scratching stopped completely and she had better mobility. Great product!

It Works with Synovi G3
Sophie, a 10 year old 45 lb blue heeler has had trouble with her knees for the past 3 years. I tried numerous brands of medication until I started to give her one tablet with her morning meal. At dinner, she gets a Synovi G3 tablet. This combination Works! She now runs and jumps like a young dog.

works well
Started using this product about a week ago and am already seeing marked improvement in my dog. He is quite old and has been very lame. He is moving much better, having a much easier time getting up off the floor to stand. I am actually thrilled and surprised at the difference I am seeing.

Breed Rottweiler
Amazing results!!
I have a 7 year old male Rottweiler. He is average size, right around 100lbs. He started limping a little about a year ago, even though I've had him on Glucosamine/Chondroitin supplements since he was 2 yrs old (recommended by our vet.) He would hesitate a little when sitting down, and then limp for the first few steps after getting up. After a week on Duralactin twice a day, he no longer limps at all, and acts like a puppy! For his weight, the bottle said to give 1.5 tabs twice a day, but I decided to try just 1 tab twice a day, and that has done the trick. Thank you so much for giving my dog his youth back!!!
