Pleased with Chicken and Salmon Entree
I have used the sensitive skin and stomach in the chicken and salmon flavors for the last month. My dog prefers the consistency of the chicken and salmon entrees vs the stew. I switched from another high quality canned product since my 6 lb dog was having digestive and output difficulties compacted by ongoing gland issues.Over the month I have noticed a definite difference in her digestion and output. Also, she doesn't seem to be licking her paws as much that I think was due to itchy skin. So far I am very pleased.

The answer for sensitive tummies
I have 4 little dogs. Only 1 has a 'stomach of steel' and can do well on any food, really. The other 3 struggle from time to time with other foods and too many treats.
I feed this wet food along with the sensitive small dry food and happily, everyone has great digestion! Definitely continuing to feed this to the crew- plus they love it!
Mixes well with dry food.

Question about changing consistency of canned food.
My 8 year old multi breed has symptoms of IBS since "puppyhood" and the vet put him on this special diet and my pup, Mac loves it! However, I am noticing recent inconsistent texture of this product. Usually, this food is the same moist character as the SALMON selection, but lately, I am noticing a dryer consistency of almost a granular nature...so, what is occurring to give this selection the changes in texture?
I would like to continue to give this Hill's Diet for sensitive stomach to my dog, but am concerned with the dryer than usual inconsistent product in the cans...He loves all the sensitive selections of Turkey,Salmon and Chicken. Hoping to hear a response from the "Chief" at Hill's dog food.

GRAIN FREE
Hill's is a widely trusted brand so when I was choosing a diet for my dogs I thought I couldn't go wrong with this product. Months later I realize I've been accidentally feeding my dog's grain-free. Grain-free diets have been linked to heart disease and it's upsetting that it wasn't clearly listed on the food packaging.
