Science Diet Adult Chicken
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First and foremost, my dog is a lab who has never been known to turn down any food. He was very eager to eat this food, but he is very eager to eat all food.
Two things did stick out to me. The first thing I noticed when I first opened the bag: the closure system. The bag uses a very solid feeling velcro like closure at the top which was a welcome change to the normal zipping closure which inevitably stops working halfway through a large bag. I think it is an excellent system.
The second stand out aspect was the ingredients of the food. Chicken was the number one ingredient and it did not have any of the preservatives or fillers that his old food had.
All in all I am happy with the product and have made the switch permanent.

My dog loves this food

I was so thankful to be chosen to try this food for my honest review because I've heard wonderful things about this brand. I can confidently say my dog loves this food and his stomach is much happier. It doesn't have a strong dog food smell so that's a positive too. Nice uniform shape to each piece and the bag is a high quality bag that doesn't rip. Great food.

My dog loved it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog, Luna, was able to try out Hill's Science Diet Adult 7+ dry dog food - she loved it! She's gotten pickier as she's gotten older but she was SO excited to try this out! We transitioned her pretty slowly since she's almost 9, but she had 0 issues with the new food! She free-feeds throughout the day, but I was filling her bowl about twice daily and she was always just as excited to eat! I'm really happy with how much she seems to like this dry food, and I'm going to continue mixing it with her large breed food as well!

Changed the formula
Our dog has been eating Science Diet since she was a puppy progressing from puppy to adult and finally to Adult 7+ without issue until our last bag of Scient Diet Chicken Barley and Rice kibble. She stopped eating with our latest bag purchase cold turkey which for a dog that's never had a problem gobbling down whatever was placed in from of her was troubling. So we did the plain rice and followed up with attempting to re-introduce kibble. She ate around it. So after consulting other reports concerning the changes, we've had to change to a different brand.
