Do not give this medication if your pet has taken or used a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as selegiline, Mitaban Dip or Preventic Collar within the last 14 days. Tell your veterinarian if your pet has liver or kidney disease, asthma, thyroid disease, diabetes, stomach or intestinal problems, high blood pressure or heart disease, difficulty urinating, seizures, or glaucoma. Tell your veterinarian if your pet is pregnant or lactating.

Clomipramine Hydrochloride Tablets should not be given in combination, or within 14 days before or after treatment with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor [e.g. selegiline hydrochloride (L-deprenyl),amitraz]. Clomipramine Hydrochloride Tablets are contraindicated for use in dogs with a history of seizures or concomitantly with drugs which lower the seizure threshold.

  • Administer as a daily dose or divide into twice daily doses to minimize side effects. To reduce the incidence of vomiting that may be experienced by some dogs, Clomipramine Hydrochloride Tablets may be given with a small amount of food.
