When choosing a product to treat fleas and ticks, there are so many different options now that it can be difficult for pet parents to decide which is best for their dog or cat. While some people are quick to try the newest product to hit the market, when it comes to their beloved pets, many people are most comfortable sticking with a treatment that already has a long track record of success. Frontline Plus is one of the most popular and trusted flea and tick treatments around because of its history of being safe and effective.

Where can I buy Frontline Plus for dogs and cats?
PetMeds® carries top-selling flea and tick control products including Frontline Plus, only our products cost a lot less! Buying with PetMeds® also saves you trips to the vet's office because we deliver right to your door. And in addition to our already low price on Frontline Plus, we also offer free shipping on orders $49 or more. You can help protect your pet from pesky fleas and ticks with year-round prevention, just without the hefty price tag.

How much is Frontline Plus?
Don’t worry if you have a larger dog; at PetMeds®, the price of Frontline Plus is the same regardless of the weight or size of your pet. The price varies only based upon the quantity you order. Frontline Plus is available to order in 3, 6, or 12-pack sizes, and the more you order, the greater the savings! Because of our high volume of sales, PetMeds® can offer the best price on Frontline Plus, and each product is the exact same as your veterinarian sells. Plus, all of our products are backed by our 100% product guarantee, so you can be assured that each product is of the highest quality!

Where is Frontline Plus made?
Frontline Plus is manufactured by Merial, a French company, and is imported throughout the world.

What's the difference between Frontline Plus and Frontline Top Spot?
Frontline Top Spot and Frontline Plus both contain the active ingredient fipronil, which kills fleas and ticks. Frontline Plus, however, has the added ingredient (S)-methoprene which is an Insect Growth Regulator, or IGR. This means that Frontline Plus will also kill flea eggs and larvae, thus breaking the flea life cycle.

Tips on Using Frontline Plus
Following these simple tips should help maximize the effectiveness of your Frontline application every month, and help eliminate fleas on your pet.

  • Apply Frontline Plus once a month on your pet between the shoulder blades so your pet cannot lick the medicine off.
  • Pet owners with more than one pet in the household should treat all pets using Frontline Plus.
  • Wait at least 24 hours before bathing your pet to ensure that Frontline does not wash off.
