How does PetSafe Drinkwell Seascape Pet Fountain work?
The low-voltage, submersible pump constantly circulates the water, keeping it clean and appealing to pets. The soothing flow of water is extremely quiet, making it easily approachable. The gray ceramic design is easy to clean and top-shelf dishwasher safe.
PetSafe Drinkwell Seascape Pet Fountain Directions:
- Step 1: Clean your fountain
- Clean all parts of the fountain using soap, warm water and a small brush before first use.
- Step 2: Assemble the fountain
- Thread the pump cord through the stem on the bowl.
- Place the pump in the foam filter.
- Place the foam filter and pump on top of the square in the bowl of the fountain. Press down to adhere the suction cups on the pump to the bowl. Pull the pump cord snug.
- Fold the rubber cap over the stem, allowing the cord to sit in the notch at the bottom of the cap.
- Align the carbon filter with the filter housing and insert.
- Insert the bottom of the filter housing into the circular hole on the pump.
- Place the tower over the filter housing. Align the top of the housing with the opening in the tower.
- Pour water into the fountain bowl, leaving an inch of room from the edge.
- Connect the pump cord to the power adapter and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
Tip:
If your pet is hesitant to use its new fountain, try the tips below to help it get accustomed to it. Don’t plug in the fountain for the first few days. Your pet may be intimidated by the running water. You can also add a small amount of broth to the water to help attract your pet to the fountain.
