Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer is for the treatment and control of tapeworms, roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms in dogs and weaned puppies over 6 weeks of age. It's easy to administer; just mix with your dog's food. It is an ideal complement to monthly heartworm prevention products, which may not protect against all four major types of intestinal worms. Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer is safe to use in pregnant dogs.

How does Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer work?

Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer contains active ingredient Fenbendazole to treat and control tapeworms, roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms.

Cautions:

Do not deworm a dog or puppy that is sick. Consult your veterinarian for diagnosis of the illness.

Storage:

Store at controlled room temperature. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer Directions:

  • Administer Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer by the mouth
  • The daily dose for Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer is 50 mg/kg (22.7 mg/lb) of body weight. You should weigh your dog to make sure you are using the right dose; i.e. correct gram amount and appropriate number of pouches.
  • Give Safe-Guard Canine to your dog by mixing the daily dose with a small amount of the usual food.
  • Make sure your dog eats all of the medicated food.
  • Repeat dose three days in a row.
  • Dogs over 6 months of age should be dewormed at least twice each year. Deworming schedules may vary depending on the climate where you live and the activity of your dog.
Tip:

You may need to moisten dry food to aid mixing
