Wholesome ingredients are found in every bowl, including 100% Animal Welfare Certified Chicken. The humanely raised chickens are naturally raised on family farms with gentle handling, space, and the ability to engage in their natural behaviors and fed a healthy vegetarian diet without antibiotics or growth hormones. Chicken is a great source of protein and healthy fats. Whole grain barley is a great source of fiber, and is packed with minerals and vitamins such as manganese, copper, and B1. Whole grain brown rice is non-GMO and naturally gluten free. It is known to be high in fiber and supplies natural manganese and magnesium. Coconut oil is packed with health benefits, including lauric acid, va type of omega 9 fatty acid. It is an excellent source of energy, easy to digest, and excellent for metabolic function, particularly fat metabolism. The non-GMO flaxseed is recognized for containing high levels of alpha-linolenic acid (an omega-3 fatty acid) and is used in to help balance the dietary omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acid ratio required for a healthy skin and coat.
