Made my dog love her food
Got a sample from my vet to try. Originally I didn't see a need to go through the process of changing dog foods, but when my pup stopped eating her food, I decided to give it a try. She now goes absolutely nuts for her food. She starts whimpering and just can't wait until I put the bowl down.

Puppy refuses to eat it
My 9 month old pit mix will NOT eat this. Tried mixing it with yogurt, cottage cheese, she doesn't like it at all.

New recipe not good
I have a 9 month old boxer puppy that done fine on the original large breed puppy food. Made the switch to the new formula 3 months ago and my boxer has had loose stools and diarrhea since then. Will have to resort to new dog food.

New Formula Causing Problems
Our 9 month old golden retriever has been eating this food for his whole life. He switched to the advertised "improved formula" a month ago (when the older formula was no longer available) and has had consistent diarrhea since then. After talking with our vet, we were unsure that the food was the issue and figured the stomach issues would pass but seeing the other recent reviews has confirmed that other dogs are having the same problem. It is too bad that the formula change causes this problem, especially for a puppy.

I have used Science Diet Large Breed Puppy for years. -Used with 10 digs over the years. My Great Pyrenees has been on it for 7.5 months. Switched to the "improved formula" and the dog has had stomach issues and constant diarrhea since the switch. Will unfortunately be switching to a different brand which may cause even more discomfort to my dog. Do not recommend buying.

New formula upsets tummy
My labrador puppy had been eating the large breed puppy chicken and oats recipe for almost a year now, we were unable to get the old recipe so we bought the new one and weaned him to it but it is still upsetting his stomach. He has had overly soft stools for the past 3 weeks that he has been on this food. Please bring back the old recipe, we loved the old recipe!

Causes diarrhea
I wanted to get my puppy the best food available so I started him on this. He has had consistently bad diarrhea the entire time he's been on it. I thought he was just adjusting from the breeders food to the Hills but our vet eventually told us that it's a common problem...and yet vets still recommend it? I'm frustrated because I just want the best for him and I'm disappointed because it's so hard to find one. I really wanted this to work for him but I think we're going to try purina pro plan.
