My cats will only eat this if I puree it to Churu consistency and throw a couple of treats in it. As the pate right out of the can, there's absolutely nothing I can do to make them touch it. I've tried mixing in their kibble, which they love; mixing in a Churu; mixing in treats; adding a little chicken broth on top... they just won't eat it.

My cat Max had terrible crystals in his urine. He ended up blocking twice and needing PU surgery 2 years ago. After that he was on a different urinary prescription food and was completely free of crystals for about a year. He stopped wanting the other food so I decided to try this food. He really liked it, he ate both the canned and dry food exclusively for a year and never got tired of it. It also made his stool PERFECT. That is where the benefits ended. A few weeks ago he blocked again (even though he had pu surgery 2 years ago, he had mucus and debris blocking his urethra). His bladder was full of crystals again. He ONLY ate Blue W+U, nothing else, so it DID NOT help keep crystals away or dissolve them. I am so grateful I caught his blockage early before he was in any real pain. I put him back on the other prescription food and pray he will continue eating it. Also, my vet advised had me against using this food because he didn't believe there was enough research about whether it works or not, but he allowed me to at least try it...I wish I had listened to him from the start. DO NOT risk your cat's wellbeing if they have urinary issues. Stick to the other prescription foods that actually work.

My cat has feline idiopathic cystitis and had a urethral blockage so we had to switch to prescription food. He's always had wet food but is used to eating only poultry and fish and grain free, but most of the prescription diets had mystery meat byproducts and wheat. We found only one food he liked from another brand, but he won’t eat the same food all the time, so I was so happy to find that Blue Buffalo makes a prescription urinary diet. He liked it right away! He likes that it is pate and chicken, and I like that it doesn't have any byproducts or grain. My only complaint is it's too low calorie. Not all cats who need urinary diets are overweight. Mine is underweight and I'm struggling to get him to gain. I wish they made a version of this that wasn’t also for weight management. But, overall, this is a great food. If it came in more flavors—especially salmon pate—I’d buy that too.

My cats have been on CD Hills Urniary for years. Suddenly I was finding parasitic worms in the past 2 cases of food, my cats were not eating the wet food, and I noticed a difference in their energy and behavior...I quickly started to implement the Blue urinary and in just this short week both of my cats energy is increased, they are playing more and not sleeping as much! Thank you Blue. I'm not going back. And...they finish the entire serving. I was throwing away almost the whole can of the other food...

The WU cat food is the only food our cat can eat. She will eat both wet and dry. This is the only company that makes urinary food for cats that does NOT contain corn. Our cat is allergic to corn and passes stervite crystals when not on this food. Please do not let your cats eat any form of corn it hurts them, we learned the hard way by trusting name brand high end food for urinary health- that ALL contained corn. I am very grateful for this line of food, without it our cat would be in a very dangerous situation.

The only cat food for our Simba that I trust. Highly recommended by our vet 6+ years ago when our cat had weight and urinary issues. He hasn’t had issues since WU daily!

I have a cat who gets urinary crystals and bladder stones if she eats anything besides prescription food. I have struggled for years with foods she is so-so about, leading to a lot of waste. I switched to this food and both my cats LOVE it - bowls licked clean not long after they are served. I’m so pleased with this food so far and will continue to buy it for a long time!
