How to Use a Flea Spray on Pets

1. Put on a pair of household latex gloves.
2. Spritz the flea spray on a gloved hand and gently rub the product into your pet's hair around the head, eyes, and ears. Be careful not to spray directly onto these areas as the product can get into your pet's eyes and mouth.
3. Ruffle your pet's coat with one hand while applying the spray to his or her legs, sides, stomach, legs, shoulders, and neck.
4. Apply enough spray so that your pet's coat is damp or thoroughly wet.
