This newest automatic litter box is now compatible with clumping litter, welcoming you and your cats to the ScoopFree family. Simply fill the litter tray with your cat's preferred litter and watch your new self-cleaning litter box work its magic, making your life easier and happier. Once your cat takes care of her business, the ScoopFree Clumping's motion sensors will wait 10 minutes to automatically rake her waste and clumps into the waste bin. ScoopFree's innovative raking system and waste bin lock away unpleasant odors.
PetSafe ScoopFree Clumping Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box Directions:
- Place the litter box in your desired location near a standardwall outlet.
- Insert the small end of the power adaptor into the socket onthe back of the litter box. If desired, slide the power adaptor cable under the clips on either side of the socket to secure it.
- Plug the power adaptor into the wall outlet. The litter box will power on and the rake will move to the home position.If you have a kitten, leave the litter box unplugged until she is at least 6 months old.
- Fill the litter tray with your choice of cat litter. The litter box is designed to work with most litter types, but we recommend using clumping clay litter or ScoopFree Premium Crystal Litter.
- For best results, keep the litter level between the min and max fill lines shown inside the litter tray.
- The waste bin is easy to clean and can be used unlined to reduce plastic waste, but if you prefer, you can line the waste bin with an 8-to-10-gallon trash bag. If using a bag, make sure it does not interfere with the movement of the waste bin cover or the rake.
Tip:
The Rake Button Indicates Litter Box Status - A solid blue light means normal operation. Blinking blue light indicates countdown or raking in progress. Fast blinking blue light means the rake is paused. Blue and red blinking light indicates a mechanical error during the rake cycle. Solid red light means clear obstructions near the rake and clean the sensors.
