What is the Whisker World Deluxe 3-Tier Cat Tree?

The Whisker World Deluxe 3-Tier Cat Tree is an indoor climbing tree made out of soft velour-like carpet and sisal material. It has a wide bottom making it sturdy for climbing cats, and three different platforms so your cat won't get bored. Multiple cats can also use the three different interactive platforms at a time. These three platforms rest on scratching posts made from sisal, so your cat can scratch all the way to the top - while leaving your furniture intact. The Whisker World Deluxe 3-Tier Cat Tree also includes a place to store catnip (not included), which is contained atop an interactive toy. This cat tree is ideal for cats with claws. For those cats without claws, while the lower tier(s) can provide fun, the top tier might be challenging to reach.

How it works:
Cats can use the sisal posts to scratch, which will keep your cat from scratching and clawing at curtains and furniture. The two middle platforms connect to each other with a tent made of velour-like carpeting with a hole cut out - so your cat can take a nap or hide from his or her playmates inside. On the top of the middle platform is an enclosed place for catnip and a small swatting toy to bring your cat extra enjoyment. Above this is an additional dangling swatting toy that your cat can paw at while sitting or lying down. When your cat is done playing, you can wipe it down with a cloth and clean water.

Cautions:
Don't leave your cat unattended on cat trees for long periods of time. When in use by multiple cats, make sure the tree is not wobbling or shaking.

There are no tools required with the Whisker World Deluxe 3-Tier Cat Tree, however it does require assembly. For some, this may take 10 to 15 minutes to assemble.

CatNip Toy Assembly:

Push the included 6 brown tubes into the base of the catnip toy and press the top onto the tubes.

Tree Assembly Instructions:

1. Unload all the pieces from the Whisker World Deluxe 3-Tier Cat Tree box and place the base platform on the floor. Screw 2 short dual ended bolts through the two holes in the top of the base on the bottom platform and attach the 2 weighted long sisal posts

2. Screw 2 long dual ended bolts to the top of the two weighted sisal posts and place the thru platform on top. Next, attach the two short sisal posts by twisting them onto the long bolts.

3. Place the platform with tent atop the two short sisal posts, making sure you loop the rope from the bottom of the tent over each post so the hole in the tent opens up. Attach the platform with 1 long dual ended bolt on the left side and 1 short dual ended bolt on the right side. You should now have 1 long bolt and 1 short bolt sticking out from the top of the platform with tent.

4. Attach the last short sisal post to the left side by twisting the post onto the long dual ended bolt and attach the catnip toy onto the right side by twisting it unto the short dual ended bolt.

5. Screw the last short dual ended bolt into the top of the sisal post, place the small platform with dangling toy on top and twist it so it screws on securely.

6. Once the tree is assembled, pull the tent tight and pull it down over the bottom platform so the ropes are on the underside of the bottom platform.

Things to consider before purchasing a cat tree.

• If you have multiple cats, you may want to buy a tree large enough to hold them all at the same time.
• If your cat is not declawed, you may want a tree with scratching posts (although declawed cats may enjoy scratching as well).
• Will your cat be able to safely reach the upper levels of the tree?
• How much assembly is required?
