The Weekend Tote is a designer dog carrier and made to look just like an Hermes Birkin bag with a front lock and key. It can fit small pets under 6 lbs. The exterior is two-toned and made of canvas and leatherette and comes with a back pocket for small belongings like keys, cell phone or sunglasses. It has two rigid handles that fit on your shoulder and also comes with a removable nylon strap. The Weekend Tote has two ventilation windows, one on either end and one of the ventilation windows has a fold-down flap for privacy. The interior lining and removable fluffy, cozy pillow are both made in a fun leopard-like pattern to help hide dirt and camouflage the contents of the bag. How it works:
After you unzip the top flap, place your pet inside, clip the inside tether to your pet's collar, zip the handbag back up and take your pet with you anywhere. The interior leopard-like pattern helps camouflage the contents of the bag and hide dirt. One of the side ventilation windows has a flap that can be either left open or folded down for your pet's privacy. In addition, the Weekend Tote comes with an adjustable shoulder strap and clips onto the front and back of the bag and can be used to carry your pet easily across your chest.
Cautions:
Do not leave your pet unattended in any confined areas for any length of time.
Unzip the flap on the top of the bag and place your pet inside.
Clip the tether to your pet's collar and zip the flap back up.
Allow your pet to lie down on the interior pillow.
Place your belongings in the pocket located on the back of the bag.
To use the flap over the ventilation window:
When the flap is down, snap the two buttons located on both the flap itself and the bag together to keep your pet hidden from strangers. (Note: when the flap is down your pet only has one source of ventilation, so it is recommended to not leave the flap down for extended periods of time.)
To allow your pet to see out the window, roll the flap up towards the top of the bag, wrap the two straps located under the flap around the roll and snap the buttons to the top of the bag.
To use the removable strap:
Use the removable strap to to carry the Weekend Tote either on your shoulder or across your chest by attaching the small clip hooks located on either end of the strap to the small metal rings located on both the front and back of the bag. These rings can be found at the ends of the leatherette handles.
Tip: Remove the interior pillow to allow your pet more space to move around.
