Dog We have a miniature, long hair, Dachshund who is very allergic to fleas and probably more (She's 7 -8 years old, but new to us, so we are still learning about her) Due to all of her gnawing and licking, she developed 2 hair balls within a 3 month period and almost choked to death on one. Her Vet recommended this product, but we couldn't find it for dogs ANYWHERE, until I thought of 'PetMeds' They were able to get it to us VERY quickly, no hassle, and so far, so good! She loves the taste so is happy to lick it from my finger as if I'm giving her the best treat in the world! She's only two weeks in with this, but we can tell that she's already feeling better. This product is wonderful! 01/05/2014
Explosive! I have a long haired 12 year old cat, Cleo, who has constipation problems. I spent almost $200 at the vet having her cleared out and well worth it because, it was successful. However, the constipation has returned. I hesitated having her go through that again.. When I saw the dexcription of Lax'aire on your webpage, I decided to try it! Wow! The first night was explosive! It was like a volcano eruptiong. She cleared out in a couple of days and has been great since! Thanks! 08/13/2013
Works great My cat was drowning with his own hair. He had coughing attacks, it was really scary. I took him to the vet, he recommended Lax'aire. I have been giving it to him for a year and it works great. I recommend this product specially if you have a cat with really soft and long hair (my cat is a Norwegian Forest Cat). 06/25/2013
Excellent product! I have a very finicky cat and won't go near any other hair ball remedy that I've tried. He loves Lax'ire and takes it like it's a treat. Works well for both a hairball remedy and issues with constipation. 04/14/2013

One of my cat Snake has to be on presceiption CD diet. He can't have regular food becasue crystals are formed in his urine and he couldn't go to bathroom. Is it safe to give him Lax'aire for hair balls? Ding Ding and Monkey are fine.

Answer:
My cat has been on a prescription diet for 12 yr. She has been using Lax'aire, and a similar product for a couple of years with no problem. When I say similar, I mean the same ingredients.

Answer:
Hi Tsetsefly. Good question. There are no contraindications for using Lax'aire with any prescription foods, or any other prescriptions. It is always wise to check with your vet first, however, when using any product while the dog is on prescription medications and/or food.
