How it works:
Once the Heated Bolster Dog Bed is plugged in, the heater inside is activated when your dog rests on top of the bed. The dual thermostat automatically warms to your dog's normal body temperature without becoming hot. This dog bed is useful during the warmer months because the heater inside is also removable. This bed is also great for cats.
Cautions:
Not recommended for dogs that like to chew aggressively. To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plug, or appliance in water or other liquid. Always unplug from outlet when not in use. When using this product, make sure your dog has the option of sleeping on or off the bed.
Carefully position heating pad between outer and inner lining and close the opening
so your dog cannot remove the heating pad. When in use, check the pad to ensure
proper positioning.

Turn the bed so the cord is exiting the back of the bed, away from the normal path
traveled by your dog.

Always give your dog the choice to lie on OR off the heated bed.

Testing your new Heated Bolster Dog Bed: After operating 1-2 hours, place a pillow on your dog's new bed. After 15-20 minutes place your hand under the pillow to feel for warmth.

Tip: When cleaning the bedding, unplug and remove the heater so you do not subject it to

Softest Bed ever
I received my new bed for my little girl , Hope , a papillion mix breed about 7 lbs. When I opened the box and put it on the floor for her , she was so excited and hopped over the side to get in it. The bed is the large size so she has plenty of room to stretch out and lay however she wants to. I love the fact that it has a removable heating pad on it as well ,just in case its a chilly night here in South Florida ! It really is so soft ! I wish Pet Meds had one in people size !

Great Bed
We had to get our dog out of our bed and on her own. It's always been a struggle until I bought this bed. She absolutely love the heat and curling up in this bed. She sleeps in it day and night. The only con is that she's laid on it so much the stuffing has gotten flat. I just need to get an old pillow or blanket to stuff in it for her. I still recommend it to everyone!

I was surprised how much my dog needed this bed.
We live in Florida and it really does not get that cold except for a few days in the year, so when I got this bed I didn't think I would use the heat that much. However, when I plugged it in yesterday and it was 72 degrees in the house, I was surprised at how much my dog loved the warmth of this bed. She specifically situated her body right over the part where the warmth was coming from. Then it dawned on me, that she has arthritis and this was helping her with her pain. I could see from the expression on her face that the heat was providing her TREMENDOUS comfort, it brought a tear to my eye.

Hi Keenconnection, I'm sorry, we only carry the Heated Bolster Bed in Sage at this time. There are no plans to carry it in darker colors, but that's a good idea that I'll pass on to our marketing department.
