UT Strength Canine Bite-Sized Chews are chicken liver-flavored chews for dogs that help support urinary tract health. The chews can be given once daily to dogs who are predisposed to urinary tract infections and bladder crystals. UT Strength Canine Bite-Sized Chews can be given long-term.
For: Dogs
Benefits:
•
Fights off infections
•
Formulated to specifically support urinary tract health
•
Removes bad bacteria that causes 80% to 90% of all urinary tract infections (UTIs)
•
Maintains bacterial balance in the gastrointestinal and urinary tracts
•
Included cranberry extract helps acidify urine and reduce the strong scent of ammonia in urine
How it works:
There are multiple active ingredients in each chew. D-Mannose helps remove bad bacteria from the bladder and urinary tract by attaching to particles in the urine so your dog expels them during urination. The bacteria D-Mannose removes is responsible for 80% to 90% of all urinary tract infections (UTIs), so it helps prevent the vast majority of UTIs. N-Acetyl Glucosamine (NAG) is concentrated in the mucosal lining of the urinary tract. Because this lining is the protective barrier against acids and bacteria in the urinary tract, supplementing with NAG helps reduce the chance of infection. GanedenBC30 (Bacillus coagulans) helps promote and maintain good digestive health. Cranberry Extract helps acidify urine (increase acid in urine), which can neutralize free radicals and prevent bacteria from sticking to the cells that line the bladder and urinary tract. It can also decrease the strong smell of ammonia in urine. Other active ingredients are Bromelain and Corn Silk.
Cautions:
UT Strength Canine Bite-Sized Chews should not be given to dogs that need to reduce the acidity in their urine. Consult your veterinarian if your pet has clotting disorders, is being treated with anticoagulant medications, has diabetes or a history of urinary tract sores, or is allergic to shellfish (as the chews contain both shrimp and crab).

My female Boykin Spaniel has been plagued with struvite crystals and UTI's. She's on a prescription diet and I give her these treats. It seems to be working great. No UTI's in several months.

Works great!
I have a female Boxer who is prone to urinary tract infections; she would get one about every six months. Vet could not figure what was causing her to get these all the time. I do not like having to give her anitbiotics all the time so was looking for something natural. I found these wonderful chews. Cleared up her UTI and has kept her from getting any more now for over two months. I am very happy with this product. Thank you!
