What is Taste of the Wild Feline Formula Dry Cat Food?
Taste of the Wild Feline Formula foods are hearty and nutritious meals for cats of all life stages. Real lean cuts of meat and fish (certified hormone free and antibiotic free) provide highly digestible sources of protein, while sweet potatoes and peas are used to provide your cat with high levels of energy. Whole fruits and vegetables provide vitamins and antioxidants to boost your cat's immune system. This natural cat food also contains proteinates (protein compounds), which help your cat's body absorb the nutrients to get the most out of the food. Taste of the Wild is grain free, which makes it a great food for cats with intolerances or allergies to grains. This dry cat food is a great complement to Taste of the Wild Canned Cat Food.

How it works:
Each batch of Taste of the Wild is cooked with water that is purified through reverse osmosis, the same process used by popular bottled water manufacturers. This helps to remove any microorganisms, organic and inorganic chemicals, and ensures the meats and meat meals are steamed (cooked) with purified water. Taste of the Wild provides your cat with a hearty meal that is not only delicious but also provides essential vitamins and antioxidants to stay healthy and active.
Transitioning Your Cat to Taste of the Wild:
•
Days 1 & 2: Feed 75% previous cat food and 25% Taste of the Wild.
•
Days 3 & 4: Feed 50% previous cat food and 50% Taste of the Wild.
•
Days 5 & 6: Feed 25% previous cat food and 75% Taste of the Wild.
•
Day 7: Feed 100% Taste of the Wild.
Tip: Digestive upset caused by a diet change can sometimes be prevented by mixing some non-fat plain yogurt in with your cat's food each day during the transition. The live cultures within the yogurt will help balance the flora within the digestive system and minimize flatulence or loose stools that are sometimes associated with a diet change.

Love...love...love
My cats really love this food and the price is great. It's hard to find a good quality food without paying a small fortune for it. The only thing is that I wish the first ingredient was chicken rather than chicken meal but it's the next best thing.

All 3 Love It
This food was suggested to me by my vet when I asked for ideas about switching foods. I have three cats, one of whom as a very sensitive stomach and is a finicky eater. Since switching to Taste of the Wild, he is vomiting less and eats a lot more. The other two like it much better than anything else I've tried as well and love when I bring home a new bag.

GREAT FOR SENSITIVE TUMMY!
I've always wanted to give my animals the best and I thought I was until my tortie Gracie kept throwing up after every meal, I couldn't understand it. I did some research and found out that cats with sensitive GI tracts can benefit from grain-free food. She hasn't been sick ever since we switched to TOTW. Bandit is new to our home and immediately switched to TOTW after eating cheap food at the shelter without any digestive problems at all, he loves it so much he wakes me up to ask for his breakfast every morning!

Excellent
My cats have in the past refused to eat most cat foods even the canned food but when they delivered this to the front door the cats ran to the bag and sniffed it, immediately they were scratching to try and get into the bag, they love this food, they also come running when they hear me rattle the bag to fill their bowls its clear this is the best food I have ever fed them.. they eat much less wet food now (out of choice) and this clearly fills them a lot bec they eat less dry food overall too, they are in excellent condition (glossy thick coats) and very healthy (not an ounce of fat on their bodies) - highly recommended this food and it lasts so long it works out to be more cost effective than those awful supermarket brands!!

Miracle cure in a food bag!
I was desperate to solve our orange tabby's horrible skin condition in which she got terrible itchy rashes that left her skin raw and scabbed, but she also plucked most of her fur out! It was awful for everybody. Searching online for a solution, as our vet was perplexed and could only offer expensive testing and perhaps allergy shots in addition to her now monthly steroid shots, I found a suggestion for Taste of the Wild food. I had been feeding the cats grain free, but it wasn't working. Taste of the Wild had the highest ratings for grain free cat foods so I gave it a try. Wow! Six months later and orange tabby has NO more raw patches, no more plucking, no more itching!!! I add a squirt of Grizzly Salmon Oil to the food bowls every day too. We have a elderly 16 year old brown tabby who looks years younger with sleek fluffy fur and an attitude. Our newest kitty addition, a blue eyed Siamese mix, was ADDICTED to Meow Mix to the point she would rip open the bag in the pantry and eat all day long! She was getting fat on the junk food, with a big fat belly. 6 months now on Taste of the Wild and her gut is gone.
