My English Bulldog is a big time shedder. I heard of this from another EB owner, and she said it works for her dog also. My Lucy doesn't like the flavor at all, I couldn't even trick her to like it. So then I would put peanut butter on it and she would swallow big pills whole. I did this for a month, still some minor shedding but not as bad. Then I started breaking the big pills up thinking maybe it wasn't processing properly because she swallowed it whole. After doing this for another month I now see that she is NOT SHEDDING at all hardly. I would recommend this product for sure! I would give 5 stars if the product came maybe in a powder form due to me having to mix it and crumble etc. Oh and also, my Lucy is over 60 lbs so I have to give her 3 pills in am & pm gets a little tiresome but worth it for her to stay indoors with us.
Since using this product I have seen very little hair around the house. Before there was enough hair to make a coat out of and I was constantly trying to clean it up which is next to impossible as the hair tends to fly all over
This is the best product Shed Terminator saved my sanity I was sweeping up so much hair that I could make another dog.Now after using this the hair has stopped tremendously.
I have 2 collies that were shedding way to much. I bought the shed terminator and within 3 days I notice a major change. Alot less shedding. I was cleaning carpet areas 3-4 times aday and now if I want I don't have to do carpet areas for 2-3 days.
I have a chihuahua and the chewable it too large... I broke the pill into 4 pieces and the 1st time she actually chewed it. The 2nd time was a nightmare. I broke it up into 4 pieces and she just spit them out. I crushed it and rolled it in cheese...she could smell the odor from the pill and would not eat the cheese with the crushed up pill it it. I don't have a clue how to get her to eat the pill to even be able to rate it. Please help with suggestions.
I noticed in other reviews and description that these pills have a strong taste that most dogs don't like - one review mentioned using pill pockets to administer. What size pill pocket should be used?
