What is the Plush Memory Sleeper?

The Plush Memory Sleeper is a luxurious orthopedic pet bed offering the ultimate in support. The Outlast fabric helps maintain a comfortable temperature for your pet, which makes it a perfect pet bed to use year-round. Although this bed is great for all pets, it is especially helpful for senior pets and arthritic pets that need additional support for aches and pains associated with aging and arthritis. Choose from 3 different color combinations to find a look that best complements your home.

For:

Dogs and Cats

Benefits:
  • Reduces aches and pains placed on joints and pressure points.
  • Contains two inches of memory foam to provide your pet with full body support
  • Outlast fabric technology prevents the temperature of the mattress from becoming too hot or cold, which helps reduce pet odor caused by pet sweat
  • 3 different color combinations available to complement your home decor
  • Available in 5 sizes
  • Made in the USA
How it works:

Unlike most pet beds with regular cotton padding, the Plush Memory Sleeper has two inches of memory foam that contours to your pet's body shape offering full body support and helping to reduce the strain placed on your pet's pressure points. The Outlast technology works by maintaining your pet's body temperature from becoming too hot or too cold, which can also reduce pet odor.

Cautions:

The Plush Memory Sleeper is for pets only.

How to Use
Directions:
  • Place the Plush Memory Sleeper in any area around your home where your pet can rest.
  • To wash outer fabric or outlast pad, use cold water with a cool dry.
Tip:

To clean the inner memory foam, rinse with water, squeeze out excess, then allow to air dry.

Customer Reviews
Plush Memory Sleeper is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disapointed I have a 8yr old 110 lb black lab/shepard and he won't sleep on it. I had to make him get on the bed and the minute I turn around he gets off. He always slept on his other bed but won't get near this bed. My grandkids lay on it and say its more comfortable then their bed. Alot of money for not using it. What to do?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soooo Comfortable When my fox red lab faced his first ACL surgery I ordered this bed for him for the support he needed to recover. It is one of the BEST purchases I've ever made! He loves this bed and now two years later and another ACL surgery on his other leg, he's loving this bed even more. I am sure he recovered so well both times because he was able to get comfortable and rest well during the healing process. He is resting on his bed as I type this. This bed is still like new after two years of use and is still supporting his body as well as it did when I first put it in place for him. It is a wonderful product, easy to keep clean, looks good and the best thing is he loves it! Thanks 1-800-PetMeds, I'm happy to have found you and this comfy bed for my best friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recommended This bed is great. The top facing is softer than the rest of it which is a nice touch. The inner foam seems to be high quality. My 125lb baby loves it, and after long naps the foam pops right back into place. Durable zipper and the cover comes off easily. Maybe a little pricey as a lot of these beds are,but after receiving it I am completely happy with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Bed but Very Firm I was so excited about getting this bed for my 7 y/o Pit. She had an upcoming surgery for her ACL tear and was recently diagnosed with arthritis in her lower back. The bed came and I was very pleased with the quality. However, my girl is very picky. In the beginning I had to force her to lay on it. We decided to stuff it in her bolster from her old bed and that helped a bit. I then put the old stuffing back in on top of the memory sleeper and now she LOVES it. I have lain on the bed and I doubt any part of her will be touching the floor for years to come. Anyway to summarize... The bed is great just beware if your dog prefers a soft, cushion style bed. You may have to take some extra measures. BTW I bought the Large (my dog is 70 lbs).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Older dog really likes it! My dog is 10 and has some arthritis in his hips and legs. I was worried that this bed would be too small, but we bought the large and it's just right. He's about 70 lbs (lab/chow mix). He loves it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have loved these for my 4 dogs! I have purchased three (two medium, one large) for my four dogs. They have held up beautifully and the covers are washed twice a week. I have had them for three years and they look as good now as they did when I bought them. The support in the form bedding is a perfect mix of support and comfort.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't hold up I purchased 2 of these beds for my 150lb Great Dane. When we first received the beds I was very pleased, they seemed plush and sturdy, but after about 1 year, both beds have concave areas in the center and no longer provide the support a large breed dog needs for hip support. A lot of money...I would have hopped these beds lasted longer than a year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable I originally bought this for my 8 year old lab mix and she loves it. I noticed she was having a difficult time getting up on her feet- arthritis. My 2 year Pit Bull also loves it and they fight over who gets the bed, haha. Literally, my pit will not even get up to drink water so my lab does not take the bed. It's very sturdy, hides hair and dirt and it can be unzipped and washed. I just bought another one for my pit bull, hopefully they don't have to fight at night anymore on who gets the bed. I have bought many beds before and this one is the best. I got a large and both are 57 LBS.

Is the large bed big enough for my dog? She is 2 yrs old and weighs 100 lbs

Asked by: Lyn50
The large beds are big enough for large breed dogs such as Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, and German Shepherds. Since your furry baby is 100 lbs, you may want to go with the extra large bed which is made for extra large dogs such as Mastiffs, Great Danes, and Saint Bernards.

Is it washable?

What parts of it are washable? I am hoping the cover is thick & washable?
Asked by: Amaroq
The cover is washable and dry-able. I've owned this bed for two years now and have washed it many times. It still looks like new. The nice thing is that the cover comes off easily and is equally easy to put back on without a struggle. Between washings I have kept it clean by vacuuming it occasionally (while it is still on the bed) I just use the low setting on the vacuum and it does beautifully well keeping it clean. I hope my answer is of help to you.
