How it works:
Now Fresh Grain Free Dry Dog Food was developed with veterinarians and certified nutritionists to ensure your dog receives the necessary nutrition needed to maintain an active lifestyle. It is slow cooked only once to preserve nutrients, which are typically lost in many commercially processed foods. Although other grain free dog foods may contain higher levels of protein, this excess is ultimately eliminated through your dog's urine, offering little to no benefit to your dog's health.
Coconut oil is used in each Now Fresh Grain Free recipe and assimilates directly through the stomach lining, which ultimately breaks down into simple sugars to be used as energy. Coconut oil is also believed to have antiviral benefits by reducing the risk of gastrointestinal issues (inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatitis, and food allergies). It also helps to promote healthy skin and coat in combination with canola oil. Plus, prebiotics and probiotics help your dog's digestive tract.

I have been feeding Now dog food to my 3 Shih-tzus for about 4 months. They are so much healthier and their coats are shiny and soft. So glad I made the switch.
We have been feeding our 1 year old Golden Retrievers "Now" for about 5 months now. They love the taste and have beautiful coats! We love the fact it has superior ratings and we only want the best for our dogs! It is worth the extra money !
quality dry food
My dog loves it !!! The only food to get 5 stars reviews from customers & vet expert !!!
Best purchase ever.
Manny loves this food. He had been getting sick quite often over the last few months. It was determined that the food he was eating was the cause. He is allergic to red dyes and gluten. Glad I found this brand. I always use name brand products for my pets and I always research those products.
WOW, me and the doggie are happy. She has had digestive problems for a year. She is a year and a half old. I have spent plenty of money at the Vet's trying to get to bottom of it. At. this point she is taking 5mg of prednisone every other day. Since she started this food last week, huge improvement, and she loves it. I think she is allergic to glueton, and am hopeful I can get her off the meds.
My 7 yr old beagle, Peanut, was diagnosed with congestive heart failure the end of Dec. 2014. She needs to be on a low sodium diet and my vet told me to get "senior" dog food. Would Now Senior Dry dog food be a good choice for Peanut?
Thank you for your question Riaellena. Of the two formulas, I would recommend, Now Fresh Grain Free Adult. You would follow the feeding instructions notated on the bag. With the small breed fomula, your Shepherd mix, would need a twice the amount.
You said the Petcurean Company oversees all of its PRODUCTION PROCESSES so I guess I need to restate my last question. Does Petcurean actually test and approve or disapprove the China-made Taurine before it is added to the specific dogfood of yours I asked about? Thanks so much.
2 years, 2 months ago
Yes, the Petcurean Company oversees all of its production processes including the adding of Chinese Taurine; with each batch tested for safety and quality. The majority of Taurine manufactured in the world is produced in China and because of the recent attention given to Chinese made products, companies such Petcurean are taking the initiative to make sure that their raw ingredients are safe for pet consumption.
