We were at our wits end... our vet, without doing a total workup on her would not give us incontinence meds. We knew she didn't even know she was leaking, but she was being confined to the kitchen tile. My friend suggested maybe PetMeds had a natural alternative, and although the reviews were pretty mixed, I thought I would try it. From the first day, she has been dry. We have been 4 days dry, and before it was a constant stream. We are all happy, and I am ordering two more bottles today.
We have used this product as instructed faithfully for close to 2 weeks and there has been no improvement and actually it has gotten much worse. What that means is we will be going back to the vet @ $250+ to get her back on meds!!
My sheltie Treasure died 2 days after using Proin. She was 14 but it seemed strange that she stopped eating and died so quickly. Are there known incidences of bad side affects on dogs? ( I read that it was withdrawn for human use).

Our dog took it once at the prescribed dose and looked like she was having a stroke. We tried it again 6 months later at half the dose, and it had the same effect. We threw it out.
I have a 6 year old female German Shepard that has a leaking problem when she is resting and expecially at night when she is asleep. I have been using the three a day dose of Leaks No More for several weeks and it seams to be helping. When I reduce the dose to twice a day she starts leaking again. Can Leaks No More be used safely for a continued long period of time with the full doseage?

I used Leaks No More for about 18months with my Lab. I was able to get by with 2 doses a day for a long time but gradually had to increase to 3x per day. Eventually, it became less effective and we had some leakage. She is now on a PPA drug, not my choice, but she is tolerating it well. I wish you luck and in my opinion, you can keep her on the full dose 3x per day until you stop finding it to be effective. Good luck...hope it helps you out.
