"After years of extensive research on the most effective & safe products for flea & tick prevention..."

We are pleased to introduce our exclusive 1-800-PetMeds Flea3X for Cats. Flea3X has a powerful 3-way action to kill fleas, ticks and chewing lice on contact - so pests don't have to bite your cat to die. In addition, it also kills mosquitoes. Flea3X has a safe main ingredient, fipronil. Fipronil is the same veterinarian-recommended active ingredient found in Frontline brand products, and has been proven to be extremely effective in killing pests. Flea3X for Cats is a tremendous value compared to other brands and you'll love the results.

For dogs: try 1-800-PetMeds Flea4X for Dogs.

    How it works:

1-800-PetMeds Flea3X for Cats contains fipronil, a safe and effective ingredient that veterinarians have recommended to protect pets from fleas and ticks for years. Fipronil is a broad-spectrum insecticide which disrupts the central nervous system of fleas and ticks. Once Flea3X is applied to your cat's body, it is spread throughout the skin by a method called translocation, which uses your cat's natural oils to disperse throughout the body and collect in the oil glands. Flea3X is then wicked away into the hair for the next 30 days. Unlike oral flea and tick control products, once fleas, ticks, lice and mosquitoes come in contact with fipronil they die - without even having to bite your cat. In addition, Flea3X is applied directly to the skin and not the hair, making it waterproof and long-lasting.

Please note: Flea3X for Cats is not manufactured or distributed by Merial, the makers of FRONTLINE brand products. FRONTLINE is a registered trademark of Merial.

Caution Do not use Flea3X for Cats on dogs.

What is this product used for: Flea3X for Cats is a flea and tick preventative that provides flea and tick control for cats and kittens. It is effective against all stages of the brown dog tick, the American dog tick, lone star tick, and deer tick (the major carrier of Lyme disease). Flea3X also kills chewing lice, is fast-acting, long-lasting, and waterproof.

Availability: Flea3X for Cats is a non-prescription (OTC) product.

How this product should be used: Use Flea3X for Cats, on cats and kittens 8 weeks of age or older. It is available as 0.50 ml applicators for cats of all weights. Wait 24 hours for product to dry before bathing or grooming your cat. Do not reapply for 30 days.

To use Flea3X, invert the tube over your cat and use the open end to part your cat's hair. Place the tube on your cat's skin between the shoulder blades. Squeeze the tube and apply the entire contents of the tube in that one spot. Use only one applicator per treatment.

What are the side effects: Cats may experience some temporary irritation at the site of product application. If signs persist, consult a veterinarian immediately.

What special precautions are there: Do not use on kittens under 8 weeks of age. Use the entire contents on each cat. Do not split one tube between cats. Do not use multiple tubes on one cat. Consult your vet before using on debilitated, aged, or medicated cats. Can be used on pregnant or lactating cats. Consult a veterinarian before using on cats with known organ dysfunction. Cats may experience temporary irritation at application site. Certain medications can interact with pesticides. Sensitivities may occur after using ANY pesticide product on cats. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your cat with soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, contact your veterinarian immediately.

Harmful if swallowed. Causes eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.

If swallowed: Call a physician or poison control center or a doctor for treatment advice. Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water and do not induce vomiting unless told to by poison control center. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

If in eyes: Hold eyes open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, continue rinsing. Call a physician or poison control center or a doctor for treatment advice.

If on skin: Wash thoroughly with plenty of soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation persists.

Call 1-866-307-9795 for 24-hour assistance or for emergency medical treatment information.

In the event of overdose: Contact your veterinarian or veterinary emergency room.

How should I store this product: Do not remove tube from pack until ready to use. Store in a cool (below 77°F) dry place inaccessible to children and pets. Do not refrigerate and protect from direct sunlight.

    Directions:
Make sure your cat's skin is in good condition in order for the fipronil to spread naturally throughout the skin and protect your cat from head to tail.
Removed the product tubes from the package and separate one of the tubes from the others.
Hold the tube with the notched end pointing up and away from the face and body, then use scissors to cut off the narrow end at the notches along the line.
With one hand, spread the fur on your cat's back between the shoulder blades and invert the tube over your cat.
Use the open end of the tube to part the fur completely and squeeze the tube firmly to apply all the contents onto that one spot.
As with any flea and tick preventative, wash your hands and any exposed skin that may have come in contact with the solution with soap and water.

PUUURFECTION! This product is the best! My roommate's pup had fleas and ticks (ugh) and we have been trying to rid the house of them before it became an infestation. I recently got my kitten and was so afraid that she has been locked up in my room. Poor thing, because she is so curious and wants to explore the whole house. I got this stuff and put it on her right away! Now, she's the queen of the house! No ticks, no fleas! And, she hasn't shown any issue with the product either! Best thing ever! 06/20/2012

I have tried unsuccessfully using the product twice on my cats. Most recently I applied the product about a week ago, yet I am able to see active flea infestation on at least one of my cats. When I apply either Frontline or Advantage the fleas go away, yet that is not the case with the Flea 3x product. WHY?

    Answer:
I would bathe your cat first. You can use dawn dish washing liquid. This suffocates the fleas. I have had no problems using this product. It's been better than Advantix and frontline. One thing I do is keep all bedding clean. I also use a spray in our yard.

We are sorry to hear about your trouble with your furry pals. Unfortunately there are products that work in some areas but not in others due to fleas building a tollerance to the active ingredients. Please call our customer service for further assistance.

The 6 pack will not be enough to get my two cats through the summer but the 12 pack is too much. Will the unused doses still be effective next year?
