Epi-Soothe Shampoo 4.6 5 37 37
Epi Soothe Shampoo Shampoo worked great on a mild itch problem. Her back and base of her tail were the problem areas. Used the shampoo once and she has stopped biting and wriggling on her back. Great stuff, Beauty says Thank You she is a happy girl now. 06/12/2011
fan of virbac product Virbac product is highly recommended by many vets around the world. It definitely helps his itchy skin with very mild scent. Have used many other oatmeal shampoos, but the scent was horrible or didn't do much on his skin health or didn't last more than 3 days. 05/25/2011
Epi Soothe Shampoo product review: I have been using this wonderful shampoo for over 10 years and have found it quite helpful in all sorts of skin problems, in particular dogs and cats with contact allergies known as atopic disease, the most common allergic skin condition seen in pets. Some of these contact allergens can be simple house dust mites, molds, grasses, trees, danders and pollens, depending upon the time of year. I find that those clients who have pets with these type of contact allergies(seen as pets with dry, itchy skin/feet or ears) benefit tremendously from regular shampooing with a product like this, up to once and even twice weekly during the bad allergy seasons for some pets. This shampoo is a natural oat grain derived product with a special type of technology in manufacturing it that can help for several days even after shampooing one time. It is moisterizing and soothing for those pets with dry and itchy skin or can be used as a maintenance shampoo in pets with normal coats. When used regularly in those pets with contact allergies, along with some of the excellent nutritional supplements from 1800petmeds including omega 3 fatty acids, and antioxidants like proanthozone, animal guardians can often cut down dramatically on their vet bills as well as sometimes the need for stronger prescription drugs or shampoos. I have not seen any side effects with this product. My overall rating of it from my 10 years experience is a 5. Its efficacy a 4.5. Ease of use a 5. 01/13/2009
We have a beagle that has allergies. This is the only shampoo that keeps him from itching. It smells good and leaves him feeling good and clean. Quigley says Thank you!!! 04/25/2014
Strong, yet gentle. 'Although both my dogs are" indoor" their lives are full of mischeif and adventure. Not to mention we live in a rural part of the city,(a lot of strays, rats, ect.) This shampoo thoroughly washes my babies. It helps with scabs, scratches, sensitive skin, it doesn't interfere with their flea prevention drops, it deodorizes AMAZINGLY leaving them fluffy and deliciously cuddlable. 09/14/2013

Thank you for your question. It is not an ingredient in this product; the EPA of California has an issue with the label from the manufacturer.

Thank you for your question. At this time, the California EPA is not accepting one of the ingredients that is in the shampoo but we are definitely working on trying to resolve this.

Answer:
It depends on your environment...If it doesn't smell or get into trouble, I would say once a month. If it is scratching, I would begin every other day until the scratching ceases.

Answer:
The 1-800 Petmeds Oatmeal and Aloe Shampoo works just as well as this product. Veterinarians recommend you bathe a dog with normal skin once a month. There is no medical need to bathe your pup more often unless he/she has skin problems or is just a little more stinky than you’d like.
