Emma Loves This
Emma is a 10 yr old, 50 lb shepard mix with joint problems coming on. When I brought the bed into the house she acted like she knew it was for her and as soon as I put it down she was on it.
She sleeps through the night now and seldom gets up unless it's to get a drink of water.
Cover has been great and the foam is like new after 9 months of use. Cover takes a little care to put on but it's not a pain for us and it's holding up well, unlike what others have noted. If this ever wears out I will buy another.

Our dog loves this bed.
Our dog lays on this bed almost all of the time and hardly uses his other one anymore. We are so pleased with this one that we are going to buy another one for him in his run.

good purchase X2
we can't have two dogs fighting over 1 bed, (this one) so we purchased a second one of this exact bed.... now each has their own deluxe ortho bed to themselves... everyone is sleeping comfortably.
The only complaint is the difficulty in re-inserting the foam after washing the cover.... it wasn't easy!

Keep shopping
The foam flattened within a month and the seams started ripping almost immediately. I really thought I would get more than a month from something that cost $70.

falling apart
While my dog loves the bed,I am unhappy with the quality. I purchased the bed locally and the first time I washed it the seams started falling apart along the welting. just wish I had know that the quality was not very good. I don't want to throw the foam in the landfill. Why don't you offer a replacement cover? So many manufacturers make throw away products,it's no wonder the landfills are filling fast.

I have a bed with the egg crate pad, and unfortunately one of my dogs has urinated on it. How can I clean it so it doesn't smell?
AnswersAnswer:Â This foam pad seems to repel moisture rather than soak it in. Clean it well and you could always put plastic tween the pad and the cover if this is a chronic problem.Answer:Â You might pick up some of the Pet Nurtrializer found at your local pet store and take the foam out of the cover and hose down through and through then doust with the nutralizer and let dry. Do both sides of the foam. It should dry pretty quickly outdoors (in the sun) and if needed, treat one more time. I have had to do this since my kids have accidents too! Best of luck!AnswersAnswer:Â The cover is not waterproof but it is easy to take off and put in washer. I line dried ours and washed on gentle and it did fine. If you have a wetting problem you can put plastic (trash bag?) tween the cover and the pad.Note: Any trademarks are the property of their respective companies. |
