Huge help for problem skin I was a little skeptical about ordering this product but based on the numerous positive reviews I thought I would give it a try. WOW am I glad that I did. Brite Coat XS Brite Coat XS product review:.......As ragweed/pollen and allergy season approaches, there is not a more important supplement to consider than brite coat XS from 1800petmeds. Not only is it a reliable, economic and trustworth source of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, but when using it clinically I have seen wonderful results in pets as good as or if not better than more expensive comparitive products dispensed out of many veterinary offices. While it can take up to a few months of continuous use to see maximal benefits, animal guardians will often report much shinier healthier coats and less shedding , as well as reduced allergic skin reactions and infections that are so frustrating for both animal guardian and veterinarian to deal with. The easy to administer capsule can be emptied onto the food or given directly by mouth. I highly recommend this excellent fatty acid and give it an overall rating of a 5 with a taste of 5. 06/04/2009

Works! Significantly reduced the amount of shedding in my large (short hair) dogs. Used to pull clumps of hair out with the shedding brush on a daily basis; now it's just a few pieces. Their coats are super soft and shiny. It did take awhile to start working--maybe 2 or 3 months before we saw results but definitely won't go back now. 04/09/2013

Excellent product to decrease shedding My dog has been using this product close to 2 weeks now, and what a difference it has made in his coat. No more shedding! capacity (in oz. or mL) of a single capsule?

The capsule is too big for my dogs to eat whole. I've even tried wrapping it in pill pockets, peanut butter, etc and I've tried pouring it over their food but they like to eat each other's food so I have to monitor to make sure a dog doesn't take a double dosage (which is time consuming and annoying!). I'm going to buy smaller gel caps to dispense individually, but I don't know the capacity of one Brite Coat XS capsule? How many ounces or milileters of the liquid supplement does one capsule hold?

I have two small dogs- 5 and 8 lbs, respectively. Should I start both dogs on 1 pill, every other day, and eventually increase both dogs to 1 pill each daily?

Thank you for your question. Start off with 1 Brite Coat XS every other day and watch for loose stools because the liquid is fish oil, if no loose stools, you can give one every day. You can puncture the gelatin tab and squeeze the liquid into your dog's food for the best results.

If you vet wants your pet to have 250 mg of Omega 3, it is best to try our Super Pure Omega 3 item #10910. This will provide ample Omega 3 1000mg plus EPA 180 mg & DHA 120 mg.
