What is 1-800-PetMeds Be Soothed Shampoo?

1-800-PetMeds Be Soothed Shampoo is a dog shampoo made with tea tree oil and aloe vera. Be Soothed Shampoo relieves bacterial, fungal, and yeast infections on the skin. It is an ideal shampoo for all dogs and puppies over 8 weeks of age, and is especially helpful in killing bacteria associated with scratches, surface wounds, and hot spots. To help skin irritations between baths, use Be Soothed Spray.

For: Dogs and Puppies (over 8 weeks of age)

Benefits:
•	Tea tree oil relieves bacterial, fungal, and yeast infections
•	Aloe vera helps soothe itching and irritation
•	Tea tree oil reduces pain and itching symptoms

How it works:
The tea tree oil ingredient has curative properties to help restore the skin, and reduce pain and itching symptoms associated with skin infections. Aloe vera helps to soothe irritated skin.

Cautions: Do not use on cats.

Directions:

•	Using warm water, wet dog's coat thoroughly. Apply shampoo from tail to head and gently massage deep into coat and skin.
•	Do not let shampoo get into your dog's eyes.
•	Allow the shampoo to remain on your dog for several minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean, warm water.

Tip: Use Be Soothed Spray between baths to help kill bacteria associated with skin infections.

itch less I have a pitbull lab mix. She has always had skin allergies, she would itch herself raw. I bought this product because of all the great reviews. We tried it on her, and she seemed to itch less, granted we have only used it once so far, I'm hoping after the 3rd wash she will stop itching all together. The smell is kind of weird, but at least she smells clean. 04/01/2013

Great Product My Pomeranians have had problems with itching and irritations, allergies, dandruff and hair loss in spite of diligent flea control. one of my younger ones also developed hair loss and tiny raised areas on her back. I tried the usual things but decided to try the tea tree shampoo and spray due to its anti inflammatory properties. my young pom is much better and no red areas noted. hair is filling back in. their coats look great and they smell fresh. very minimal hair loss in their daily grooming. give this a try if you are having issues. 12/19/2012

Works well for Smell! I purchased this shampoo for my Lhasa Apso, Bear, who has severe skin irritation which causes itching, unbearable odor, and balding. First things first, ALWAYS get your pet checked for medical problems causing the itch and/or smell. The shampoo did a great job at controlling the odor, HOWEVER, did not help for Bear's itching. After 6 months of Vet trips, steroid treatments, rounds of antibiotics, and unbearable stench and scratching, it turns out Bear had been misdiagnosed with Allergies, when he really had Mange! Now that he's on the proper treatment and on the road to health again, i will say this- the shampoo couldn't have possibly worked given the type of Mange he has. I do love the smell of the shampoo, and will continue using it solely for that purpose. For the price, the quantity is certainly a great value! 08/21/2012

Very Happy!! I have tried several products on m dog and when I found this shampoo, I bought it. I receiveyd my product today and used it right away and WOW I was amazed by the results. If your dog is suffering from dry flaky skin, then this is the shampoo for you. Her hair was falling out and had a lot of flakes, but when i used the shampoo the flakes were desolving. She has not itched as much and she seems very happy. 02/21/2012

Best Anti Itch! Wow! This stuff really works. My poor 2 year old pug got flea dermaitis and even after riding the fleas he had a HORRIBLE itch. Even after 1 use I could tell pretty much right away. And I love the smell! 01/07/2012

the be soothed shampoo has helped alot with the itching but it seems like his skin is now flaky, is there a conditioner that i should use to help?

Will this shampoo help a dog with severe skin allergies?

My dog Duke has been having major issues with his skin recently. he itches his arm pits until they are bright red and sometimes oozing puss. The vet says it's seasonal allergies.
