1-800-PetMeds Be Soothed Shampoo is a dog shampoo made with tea tree oil and aloe vera. Be Soothed Shampoo relieves bacterial, fungal, and yeast infections on the skin. It is an ideal shampoo for all dogs and puppies over 8 weeks of age, and is especially helpful in killing bacteria associated with scratches, surface wounds, and hot spots. To help skin irritations between baths, use Be Soothed Spray.

For: Dogs and Puppies (over 8 weeks of age)

How it works:
The tea tree oil ingredient has curative properties to help restore the skin, and reduce pain and itching symptoms associated with skin infections. Aloe vera helps to soothe irritated skin.

Cautions: Do not use on cats.

Directions:

• Using warm water, wet dog's coat thoroughly. Apply shampoo from tail to head and gently massage deep into coat and skin.

• Do not let shampoo get into your dog's eyes.

• Allow the shampoo to remain on your dog for several minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean, warm water.

Tip: Use Be Soothed Spray between baths to help kill bacteria associated with skin infections.

Very Happy!! I have tried several products on m dog and when I found this shampoo, I bought it. I receiveyd my product today and used it right away and WOW I was amazed by the results. If your dog is suffering from dry flaky skin, then this is the shampoo for you. Her hair was falling out and had a lot of flakes, but when i used the shampoo the flakes were desolving. She has not itched as much and she seems very happy. 02/21/2012

excellent result's, fast too! Use it if your Dog, like mine, had dry big patches of flakes, sores and redness that then became sores and blister's that flaked! With Help from Customer Service and my Vet, I used both the shampoo and the Be Soothed Spray on Carry's paw's too! I used the shampoo every other day, keeping it on for 10 minutes, wrapping a towel over him to keep him warm. After getting the excess water off, I used a fat comb to get thru his hair without hurting him, followed by a razor comb to gently get the knot's out while his hair was wet.Important! Blow dry soon after! Dampness causes Bacteria to grow back! Keep his paw's dry after spraying with Be Soothed. Put sock's on with rubber band's to stop them from biting their feet! I use infant sock's 0-3 month's! The sweat sock's kind. Use Neosporin too for the paw's. Doc say's it's ok.Keep covered. Take off in AM. 12/12/2011

Removes bad odor Tried several shampoos to eliminate bad body odor caused by allergies for my maltese. This product is the best! However, I'm still looking for remedies to stop his allergy. 10/01/2011

the be soothed shampoo has helped alot with the itching but it seems like his skin is now flaky, is there a conditioner that i should use to help?

the shampoo has made him completely stop itching but now his skin is dry and flaky, is there a conditioner you recommend?

Will this shampoo help a dog with severe skin allergies?

My dog Duke has been having major issues with his skin recently. he itches his arm pits until they are bright red and sometimes oozing puss. The vet says it's seasonal allergies.

How often can this shampoo be used?

How often can this shampoo be used for a small dog (Shih Tzu) with itching problems? Some of the other shampoos say that they can be used daily until symptoms subside, but this info is not posted for this one. Thanks!
